Desert Eagle | Naga (Battle-Scarred)
The Desert Eagle | Naga (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted pistol skin with an engraved serpent on the slide, in its most heavily patinated condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading the deep original bronze for a lighter, yellowish aged tone at the lowest entry price.
Design
Naga keeps to an aged-metal theme: a Patina finish in muted bronze, gold, and dark-brown tones, with a serpent drawn from Indian mythology engraved across the slide and scrollwork covering the body. Designed by the community artist Gaunt, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "A beast in Indian mythology as well as on the battlefield."
Desert Eagle | Naga (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Naga uses the full float range of 0.00–1.00, and Battle-Scarred occupies the top of that scale. This is a Patina finish, so the "damage" shows as color rather than scraping — at this grade the metal takes on its most washed-out, yellowish tint, the furthest the finish drifts from its original deep bronze. The engraved serpent survives as the detail that keeps the skin readable even at its most weathered tone.
Desert Eagle | Naga Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. It sits in the upper half of the standard weapon grades, one rung below the pink Classified rank, and it's a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
Desert Eagle | Naga Case and Collection
Naga sits in The Chroma Collection and is unboxed from the Chroma Case, released on January 8, 2015. As a group the Restricted tier drops around 15.98% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and because the Chroma Case is out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.
Desert Eagle | Naga Patterns
Naga has no random pattern roll: the engraved serpent and scrollwork are placed the same on each copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" variant to chase. The only things that vary between copies are float and the wear-driven color shift.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Naga is out there too, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, more expensive Chroma Case drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. No Souvenir version exists — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Chroma Case was never a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Naga Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the Naga serpent design for players who value the look over the deepest tone. Since the finish is already an affordable mid-tier Deagle, this grade is about as low-cost as the design gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Naga still recognizable?
Yes. Even at its most washed-out, yellowish tint, the engraved serpent and scrollwork stay clearly readable, because they're baked into the finish rather than painted on top. Battle-Scarred is about accepting the lightest patina tone in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the design.
Why does the Battle-Scarred Naga look yellow rather than scratched?
Because it's a Patina finish. Instead of stripping to bare metal at high float, the paint shifts hue as wear rises, so Battle-Scarred copies land on a lighter, more yellowish cast rather than heavy scuffing. It's a color change, which keeps the serpent artwork legible even at the roughest grade.
Which gloves go with the Naga?
Its warm bronze, gold, and brown palette suits an earthy, metallic loadout, so brown, tan, or gold-accented gloves pair best. Leather-brown Hand Wraps or gloves with bronze detailing match the aged-metal serpent theme and sit comfortably with the lighter Battle-Scarred tone.
