Desert Eagle | Naga (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Naga (Field-Tested) is a Restricted pistol skin with an aged bronze body and an engraved serpent down the slide. Field-Tested is the most common, budget-friendly way to own it, its Patina tone lightened a shade from the top grades.
Design
The look is aged, ornamented metal: a Patina finish in muted bronze, gold, and dark-brown tones, with a serpent from Indian mythology engraved along the slide and scrollwork running over the body. It began as a community submission from the artist Gaunt, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "A beast in Indian mythology as well as on the battlefield."
Desert Eagle | Naga (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Naga covers the full float scale of 0.00–1.00, and Field-Tested sits in the middle of it. Since this is a Patina skin, mid-range float reads as a color change rather than heavy scratching — the bronze warms toward a lighter, more oxidized tone, but the serpent engraving stays clearly readable. This is the grade most players land on for the design at a friendly price.
Desert Eagle | Naga Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade, sitting in the upper half of the standard weapon tiers and just beneath the pink Classified rank. Pulling one from a case is a genuinely respectable result.
Desert Eagle | Naga Case and Collection
Field-Tested Naga is part of The Chroma Collection and unboxes from the Chroma Case, which arrived on January 8, 2015. The Restricted tier as a group drops about 15.98% of the time from the case (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and because the Chroma Case is no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.
Desert Eagle | Naga Patterns
Naga carries no random pattern roll — the engraved serpent and scrollwork are placed the same on each copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by float and the wear-driven color shift.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Naga does exist and brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a scarcer, more expensive Chroma Case drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never made, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and the Chroma Case was never a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Naga Price
Field-Tested is the value pocket of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the serpent design fully readable, which is a big part of why it's the popular pick. As an affordable mid-tier Deagle finish, it's an easy loadout add that won't strain a budget. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Naga look worn?
Not in the scratched-up sense. As a Patina finish, it wears by shifting hue, so a Field-Tested copy simply reads as a lighter, more oxidized bronze rather than a scuffed one. The engraved serpent stays crisp because it's baked into the finish, so the skin's signature detail always stands out.
Is Field-Tested the best value Naga?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than the higher grades but keeps the serpent artwork fully legible, and it's the most common condition on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you want the lightest, most yellowish patina at the lowest price.
Which gloves go with the Naga?
Its warm bronze, gold, and brown palette suits an earthy, metallic loadout, so brown, tan, or gold-accented gloves tie it together well. Leather-brown Hand Wraps or gloves with bronze detailing echo the aged-metal serpent theme without fighting the finish.
