Desert Eagle | Night (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Night (Field-Tested) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin in a dark night-ops color scheme of black and gray. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — a bit of honest wear on a palette dark enough to shrug most of it off.
Design
The work of Valve, Night styles the Desert Eagle by spray-painting its individual parts solid colors in a black-and-gray night-ops palette. It's a stripped-down, tactical look with no busy artwork, and it ships with an evocative in-game line: "It's the whisper of the wind... it's the bite at your neck".
Desert Eagle | Night (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Within the skin's 0.06 to 0.80 float range, Field-Tested occupies the middle band. At this level the color blocks pick up noticeable scratching along the edges and high points, but the dark, matte base absorbs a lot of it, so the finish still reads well in-game. This is the grade most players default to for the balance of looks and cost.
Desert Eagle | Night Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — a light-blue grade that sits low in the standard weapon hierarchy, a single step up from Consumer. It's among the more common tiers, part of what keeps the skin easy on the wallet.
Desert Eagle | Night Case and Collection
Night comes from The Chop Shop Collection, released as part of the August 2014 update. That collection has no weapon case attached, so its skins arrive through collection drops rather than unboxing — there's no case drop rate to cite, and buyers mostly source copies on the open market.
Desert Eagle | Night Patterns
Don't expect pattern variance from Night. Because the parts are spray-painted in solid colors, every copy carries the exact same black-and-gray layout — no paint seed, nothing like a "blue gem" to search for. The only real differences between copies come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Night doesn't exist. Counters are bundled with skins that drop from weapon cases, and this finish belongs to a collection with no case tied to it, so no counter version was produced. There's likewise no Souvenir edition: Souvenir gear is generated solely from Major-tournament packages, and The Chop Shop Collection was never used as a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Night Price
Field-Tested is the value pocket of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping most of the look intact, which is a big reason it's the go-to grade. It fits squarely in affordable mid-tier Desert Eagle pricing, so it's an easy entry point. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Night look worn?
Some, but the palette works in its favor. Expect visible scratching on the edges and raised parts, yet the dark matte base soaks up much of it, so a Field-Tested copy still reads as a tidy night-ops finish from playing distance. It's more marked than Minimal Wear but far from beaten up.
Is Field-Tested the best value Night?
For most buyers, yes. It undercuts Minimal Wear on price while the dark surface keeps it looking respectable, and it's the most plentiful grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go lower still if you want the cheapest possible entry and can live with heavier scuffing.
Which gloves pair with the Night?
Its muted black-and-gray palette calls for a dark loadout, so black or gray gloves are the safe match — darker Nomad or Hydra wraps keep the stealthy, tactical mood going. Pair it with other night-ops-toned skins and you've got a coherent, low-key kit.
