Desert Eagle | Night Heist (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Night Heist (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin featuring a purple anodized body and a map-style print. Field-Tested is the most common and most affordable way to own it, adding a touch of honest wear to a design the dark base largely shrugs off.
Design
At its core the finish is a purple anodized coat carrying a map-like pattern — a minimalist, tactical design that leans into the skin's nighttime heist theme. It's the work of Valve's in-house team, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Planning is one thing, executing is another."
Desert Eagle | Night Heist (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested copies sit in the middle of the finish's float range, so the anodized coat shows light scratching along the slide edges and around the muzzle. Even so, the dark purple base masks that wear well, and the map print holds up regardless of float — most copies still look tidy from a normal viewing distance. This is the grade most players picture when they think of the skin.
Desert Eagle | Night Heist Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, which is the most common of the standard weapon grades. On the rarity ladder it lands one rung above Industrial and one below Restricted.
Desert Eagle | Night Heist Case and Collection
Part of The Havoc Collection, this Deagle finish launched with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020. Since it's the base grade, the Mil-Spec tier collectively makes up the biggest slice of drops — around 79.92%, a rate shared among all the tier's skins — so players mostly pick copies up via drops, trade-ups, or the open market.
Desert Eagle | Night Heist Patterns
No random pattern roll applies to this skin — the purple map print sits identically on every copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. What separates one copy from another is simply its wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak version was never made for this finish, because StatTrak weapons are produced only inside weapon cases and this skin isn't linked to one. Likewise there's no Souvenir version: those come solely from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Havoc Collection has never featured as a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Night Heist Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the look mostly intact, which is why it's the go-to pick for this Deagle. It's a premium finish that still won't drain your wallet, and it's quick to grab securely on Skin.Land.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Night Heist look worn?
Only mildly. The purple anodized base does a good job of hiding scratches, so a Field-Tested copy reads as tidy to most eyes, with light edge wear visible only on close inspection. The map print isn't affected by float at all, so the skin's defining detail always comes through clearly.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs well below Factory New and Minimal Wear but looks close to them thanks to the wear-hiding dark base, and it's the easiest grade to find on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you don't mind heavier, more visible scuffing.
Which gloves pair with the Night Heist?
Its purple, dark-toned body suits a moody, stealthy loadout, so purple or black gloves are the natural fit — a purple pair mirrors the slide, while black wraps double down on the heist atmosphere. Matching it with other cool, dark skins ties the loadout together nicely.
