Desert Eagle | Night (Minimal Wear)
The Desert Eagle | Night (Minimal Wear) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin wearing a muted black-and-gray night-ops color scheme. Minimal Wear sits just below the top grade, adding only a whisper of surface wear to the dark paintwork.
Design
Night is a Valve design that paints the Desert Eagle's separate parts as solid blocks of color in a dark night-ops palette — black and gray, no graphics, all restraint. The tactical, low-key styling comes with a fittingly atmospheric line: "It's the whisper of the wind... it's the bite at your neck".
Desert Eagle | Night (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Across the finish's 0.06 to 0.80 float span, Minimal Wear falls a notch under the cleanest grade. Here the solid color panels pick up only the faintest edge marks, and the matte, dark surface hides them so well that most copies still read as near-spotless at a glance. It's the value-minded route to a top-condition look.
Desert Eagle | Night Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier. It ranks toward the low end of the standard weapon grades — just one above Consumer — which makes it an easy, common grade to come across.
Desert Eagle | Night Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Chop Shop Collection, which arrived in the August 2014 update. Because the collection isn't linked to any weapon case, its skins drop as collection items instead of case pulls — there's no case unbox rate to quote, and the market is where most copies are found.
Desert Eagle | Night Patterns
Night has no random pattern variation to speak of. With the parts spray-painted in solid colors, the black-and-gray arrangement is identical on every copy, meaning no paint seed or "blue gem" exists to hunt. What separates copies is purely wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak edition of this Desert Eagle was ever made. StatTrak counters come attached to skins unboxed from weapon cases, and Night is a collection finish with no case behind it, so there's no counter variant. Souvenir is off the table too — those are minted only from Major-tournament packages, and The Chop Shop Collection never featured as a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Night Price
Minimal Wear lands second on the Night ladder, priced under Factory New but above the Field-Tested grade. Since the whole skin sits in affordable mid-tier Desert Eagle territory, this grade is a smart middle ground — near-top looks without the top-grade markup. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Minimal Wear Night show wear?
Barely. At this grade the dark matte paint takes on only light edge marks, and the black-and-gray palette masks them so effectively that the skin looks close to flawless from normal viewing distance. You'd need a zoomed-in inspection to spot the difference from the top grade.
Is Minimal Wear the best value Night?
For many buyers, yes. It costs less than Factory New but looks nearly identical thanks to the wear-hiding dark surface. That said, Field-Tested is cheaper still and also holds up well on this palette, so budget-focused players might drop a grade further without losing much.
What color scheme does the Night use?
It's a night-ops look built from solid black and gray tones, with the pistol's individual parts painted as clean blocks of color. The muted, graphic-free styling is the whole point — a stealthy, tactical finish. Minimal Wear presents that scheme with only the slightest touch of wear.
