Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive (Field-Tested)
The Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive (Field-Tested) is a Covert pistol skin awash in oversaturated orange and purple over bold abstract shapes, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable way into this loud Deagle finish without dropping to the roughest grades.
Design
At its heart this is a custom paint job leaning hard on oversaturated color — orange melting into purple across an arrangement of different shapes, deliberately vivid rather than restrained. Community artist kiku created it, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Can't miss—both the colors and when using the weapon."
Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
The finish spans the full float scale from 0.00 to 1.00, and Field-Tested lands in the middle of it. Expect light scratching along the slide edges and around the barrel, though the busy, high-contrast artwork absorbs it well and the color stays punchy. This is the grade most players picture for the money — plenty of vibrancy for a fair bit less.
Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the red tier, sitting at the very top of the standard weapon grades. It's a genuinely rare pull from any case.
Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive Case and Collection
Ocean Drive sits in The Operation Riptide Collection and is unboxed from the Operation Riptide Case, released together with Operation Riptide on September 21, 2021. As a group the Covert tier drops around 0.64% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and with the case out of active rotation, supply is fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.
Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive Patterns
Because the orange-and-purple art sits the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or blue gem to hunt for. Wear and float are all that set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ edition, which brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop from the Operation Riptide Case, and that counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this skin's case was never a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Ocean Drive Price
Field-Tested is the value entry point among the higher grades — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the design instantly recognizable, which is why it moves the most on the market. It's still a high-end Deagle, just the most accessible way to own it. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Ocean Drive look worn?
Only mildly. Field-Tested adds light scratching on the slide edges and near the barrel, but the busy orange-and-purple artwork hides it well and the colors stay vivid. From a normal viewing distance in-game, most copies still read as a loud, saturated finish rather than a beaten-up one.
Is Field-Tested the best value Ocean Drive?
For many buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear while keeping the eye-catching look intact, and it's the most available grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier wear.
Which gloves go with Ocean Drive?
Its orange-and-purple palette suits a warm, saturated loadout, so purple or orange gloves are the natural match — a purple pair echoes the darker half of the gradient, while orange wraps pull out the brighter tones. Sunset-colored gloves keep the whole vaporwave vibe consistent.
