Desert Eagle | Printstream (Battle-Scarred)
The Desert Eagle | Printstream (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert pistol skin with a black-and-white finish and pearlescent highlights, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into a coveted Deagle design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
The Printstream keeps a stark black-and-white contrast running across the Desert Eagle's slide and frame, dressed up with pearlescent highlights that catch the light. Designed by the community artist JTPNZ, it reimagines the hand cannon with a sleek, modern edge.
Desert Eagle | Printstream (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide, with the black-and-white surface broken up throughout. Importantly, this finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.00, so even its roughest copies never reach the most extreme end of the wear scale, and the bold graphic stays legible. That cap is what keeps the top-worn grade milder than a full-range skin's Battle-Scarred.
Desert Eagle | Printstream Rarity
Rarity: Covert, the red tier. It's the highest of the standard weapon grades and the rarest color a normal case skin can be — a prestige result to unbox.
Desert Eagle | Printstream Case and Collection
The Printstream sits in The Fracture Collection and is unboxed from the Fracture Case, released in August 2020. As a group the Covert tier drops around 0.64% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so even the most worn copies trace back to a scarce unboxing.
Desert Eagle | Printstream Patterns
Since the black-and-white graphic and pearlescent highlights sit the same way on every Printstream, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. The only things that tell copies apart are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Printstream is out there too, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer and more expensive drop than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over whenever the item changes hands. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and the Fracture Case has never been one.
Desert Eagle | Printstream Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the Printstream for players who care more about the design than a spotless surface. If you want this coveted black-and-white Deagle for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Printstream still recognizable?
Yes. Even with the heavy scuffing, the black-and-white contrast keeps the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look — the graphic survives the damage well.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Printstream look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 instead of the full 1.00, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear a skin can show. The result is a top-worn grade that's rougher than Well-Worn but still keeps the bold design legible.
Is the cheapest Printstream a good buy?
It can be. Battle-Scarred is the lowest-cost route to a Covert Deagle that's otherwise premium across the board, and the strong graphic holds up better than many lighter finishes at this grade. If budget is the priority and you can live with visible wear, it's a sensible entry point.
