Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike (Battle-Scarred)

Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike (Battle-Scarred)

The Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted pistol skin wearing an orange-and-red snakeskin serpent motif in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

The look comes from community artist nikto, who custom painted the Desert Eagle with an orange and red snakeskin pattern coiling across the slide and frame. It's a scaly, reptilian design built on a danger-and-precision theme, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Serpentine!"

Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly, with heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the slide and frame. Here's the catch that works in your favor: this finish is float-capped at 0.57, so it never reaches the far end of the wear scale. Even at its roughest, a Battle-Scarred copy stays milder and more legible than the same grade on a skin that runs the full 0.00–1.00 range, and the busy serpent scales keep it readable.

Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, one step under Classified and a rung above Mil-Spec in the standard weapon grades. It's a genuinely mid-high grade to pull from a case.

Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Case and Collection

Serpent Strike belongs to The Fever Collection and is unboxed from the Fever Case. Across that case the Restricted tier drops roughly 15.98% of the time, with the rate shared across the tier's skins rather than pinned to this single finish.

Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Patterns

Since the snakeskin scales and serpent motif sit the same way on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Only wear and float separate one copy from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's a StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike too, pulled from the Fever Case, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the plain skin, and its counter is permanent, following the item through every trade and sale. No Souvenir variant was ever produced — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Fever Case has never featured in a Major.

Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of this finish — the entry-level way to run the serpent design for players who care more about the look than the condition. On a Deagle skin that's budget-tier to begin with, this is about as low as the cost goes. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Serpent Strike still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and paint loss, the dense orange-and-red scales and coiling serpent motif keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look of the skin entirely.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Serpent Strike look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.57 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a busy scale pattern that breaks up the damage, the serpent design stays more legible here than many skins do at the same grade.

Which gloves go with Serpent Strike?

Its warm orange-and-red snakeskin suits a fiery loadout, so orange, red, or tan gloves work best — a warm-toned pair echoes the serpent's coloring, while reptile- or snake-textured wraps push the theme further. Slot it beside other warm-hued skins for a matching set.
