Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike (Well-Worn)
The Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike (Well-Worn) is a Restricted pistol skin carrying an orange-and-red snakeskin serpent motif, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper way into the design, with wear the busy scale pattern still partly disguises.
Design
Serpent Strike began as a community submission from the artist nikto, who custom painted the Desert Eagle in an orange and red snakeskin pattern running over the slide and frame. The scaly, reptilian styling leans on a danger-and-precision theme, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Serpentine!"
Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
At Well-Worn the finish shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the slide and frame, where the color thins out. The serpent motif still holds as the standout, but there's no hiding that this is a worn grade. The overall float is capped at 0.57, so even a high-float Well-Worn copy stays milder than it would on a skin that ran the full scale. For players who care more about price than a flawless surface, this grade delivers the look for less.
Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. It sits above Mil-Spec and directly below Classified among the standard weapon grades — a genuinely mid-high grade to unbox.
Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Case and Collection
Part of The Fever Collection, Serpent Strike drops from the Fever Case. The Restricted tier as a whole unboxes about 15.98% of the time from that case, an odds figure shared among the tier's skins rather than fixed to this Deagle alone.
Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Patterns
This finish has no random pattern roll: the snakeskin scales and serpent motif appear the same on every copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" worth hunting. Wear and float are all that set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike does exist, sourced from the Fever Case, and brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a scarcer, costlier drop than the standard skin, and that counter is permanent — it carries over whenever the item changes hands. A Souvenir version was never made, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament souvenir packages and the Fever Case was never a Major drop.
Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of this finish's ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the serpent design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. On an already affordable Deagle, it's one of the cheapest ways in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Serpent Strike look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning across the slide and frame — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering of Battle-Scarred. The dense orange-and-red scales keep the serpent recognizable, so it still reads clearly as Serpent Strike in-game despite the wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if price is your top priority. Field-Tested looks a good deal better for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers land there. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the serpent design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Does the float cap affect Well-Worn copies?
Yes. This finish tops out at 0.57, so its worn grades never reach the extreme end of the float scale. A Well-Worn copy shows real scuffing, but the cap keeps it from looking as trashed as a Well-Worn on a skin that runs all the way to 1.0.
