FAMAS | Crypsis (Factory New)

FAMAS | Crypsis (Factory New)

The FAMAS | Crypsis (Factory New) is a Mil-Spec camo finish sprayed with a randomized insect pattern in autumn browns. Factory New shows that camo work at its sharpest, before any wear softens the detail.

Design

Crypsis leans on a busy, insect-inspired camo pattern rendered in warm autumn browns, designed to blend rather than stand out — a stealthy look built for players who like their loadout to hide, not shout. It's a community design by MGBazz, and it carries the line "Take a second look."

FAMAS | Crypsis (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish runs a float range of 0.00 to 0.55, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of it. At this level the insect camo pattern reads crisp and the autumn coloring stays fully saturated, with no scuffing anywhere on the body.

FAMAS | Crypsis Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — a common rank and the tier most case openings land on.

FAMAS | Crypsis Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Prisma Collection and drops from the Prisma Case, which released March 13, 2019. Mil-Spec tier pulls from that case land around 79.92% of the time, a rate shared across the whole tier rather than unique to this skin.

FAMAS | Crypsis Patterns

The insect camo layout is fixed on every copy of this finish — there's no seed variation, so no "blue gem" version exists to hunt for. Wear and float are the only things that separate one copy from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version of this finish exists, adding a confirmed-kill counter that stays with the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir edition, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Prisma Case has never been one.

FAMAS | Crypsis Price

Factory New tops the Crypsis price ladder as its cleanest, priciest grade, though the finish overall stays firmly in budget territory. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the FAMAS Crypsis a rare skin?

No — it's a Mil-Spec Grade finish, the blue tier and the most commonly-dropped rank from the Prisma Case, sitting at roughly 79.92% odds along with the rest of the Mil-Spec tier. It's an easy, low-cost pickup rather than a rare chase item.

Does the pattern matter on the Crypsis?

No, the design is fixed — the randomized insect camo sits the same way on every copy, so there's no "best pattern" or blue-gem seed to hunt. Wear grade and float are the only things that change one copy from another.

Is Factory New worth the extra cost here?

Since the whole finish sits at a budget price, the jump from a lower grade to Factory New is small in absolute terms, so it's an easy upgrade if you want the sharpest camo detail. Minimal Wear looks nearly as good for even less.
