FAMAS | ZX Spectron (Well-Worn)
The FAMAS | ZX Spectron (Well-Worn) carries the same black base and multicolored retro-tech accents on a Restricted Grade rifle, here in a more scuffed-up state. It's a budget route into the design, with the color scheme still holding up under the wear.
Design
This design comes from community artist SHADOW, who took inspiration from vintage computer hardware for a black base finished with multicolored accents. The in-game flavor line, "Clive would be proud," ties the theme together.
FAMAS | ZX Spectron (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn sits near the top of the finish's full 0.00–1.00 float range, and at this level the body shows clear scuffing and paint thinning, especially around the receiver. The multicolored accents remain visible and recognizable, though the overall finish looks noticeably rougher than Field-Tested.
FAMAS | ZX Spectron Rarity
This is a Restricted Grade skin — the purple tier, one step above Mil-Spec and below Classified, a reasonably uncommon case pull.
FAMAS | ZX Spectron Case and Collection
Part of The Operation Riptide Collection, this finish drops from the Operation Riptide Case that launched with Operation Riptide in September 2021. As a Restricted-tier skin it comes out of that case around 15.98% of the time, a rate shared across the whole tier.
FAMAS | ZX Spectron Patterns
No random pattern separates one copy of this finish from another — the multicolored accents land in the same spots on every black-base copy, so there's no rare seed to look for. Only wear and float make a difference here.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ edition exists for this finish, permanently tracking kills and drawn from the same Operation Riptide Case as the regular version. There is no Souvenir edition, as Souvenir weapons require a Major-tournament package and this collection has never had one.
FAMAS | ZX Spectron Price
Well-Worn ranks near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only the cheapest grade. Given the finish's premium status overall, this is one of the more approachable ways into the design. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn ZX Spectron look?
It shows clear scuffing and thinning paint around the receiver and edges, more than Field-Tested but less than Battle-Scarred. The multicolored accents stay legible against the black base even at this grade.
Is Well-Worn a smart buy for this finish?
It's a good option if you want to save money on an otherwise premium-priced skin, since Well-Worn costs noticeably less than the higher grades while keeping the retro color scheme readable.
Does the ZX Spectron reach the full 1.00 float?
Yes, unlike some finishes, its float range isn't capped, so Battle-Scarred copies can reach the maximum wear the game allows, right up near the top of this Well-Worn grade.
