Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration (Field-Tested)
The Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration (Field-Tested) is a Classified rifle skin with offset, glitch-style colors across the body. Field-Tested is the classic middle grade, balancing visible wear against a lower price.
Design
The colorway is built from purple, pink, and black tones deliberately offset from each other, giving the whole gun a glitchy, almost psychedelic look. Community artist kosear created it, with the line "(Not so) easy on the eyes..." attached.
Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Sitting in the middle of the skin's 0–1 float range, Field-Tested shows some scuffing and surface wear, though the offset color layers stay distinguishable overall. This is the grade most buyers land on for this finish.
Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier — second-highest of the six standard weapon grades and a genuinely uncommon drop from the Snakebite Case.
Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration Case and Collection
Chromatic Aberration belongs to The Snakebite Collection, released alongside the End of Broken Fang update in May 2021, and comes from the Snakebite Case. The Classified tier pulls at around 3.2 percent from that case, a rate shared across the tier.
Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration Patterns
Every copy shows the identical offset-color layout — there's no paint seed variation and nothing resembling a "blue gem" pattern on this finish. Wear and float are the only things that change from copy to copy.
StatTrak & Souvenir
This finish exists as a regular skin and a StatTrak version, the latter adding a permanent confirmed-kill counter at a higher price. There's no Souvenir edition, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages and the Snakebite Collection has never been part of one.
Galil AR | Chromatic Aberration Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot here, cheaper than the top two grades while the glitch-style colors still hold up well in-game. It's a premium finish that won't break the bank at this grade. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Field-Tested the best value pick for Chromatic Aberration?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while the offset colors remain easy to make out, making it the practical choice unless top condition specifically matters to you.
How worn does Field-Tested actually look?
Expect light scuffing and some surface texture, but nothing that obscures the design. The colors stay distinct enough that the glitch effect the finish is known for still comes through clearly.
Should I get StatTrak Field-Tested or the regular version?
That depends on whether kill tracking matters to you. StatTrak costs more and is rarer at every wear grade, including Field-Tested, but the visual design itself is identical between the regular and StatTrak copies.
