Galil AR | Galigator (Field-Tested)

Galil AR | Galigator (Field-Tested)

The Galil AR | Galigator (Field-Tested) brings a Restricted rifle finish of hand-painted alligator artwork and toxic hazard symbols on a green and yellow base. Field-Tested is the classic middle ground — light wear at a noticeably friendlier price.

Design

A hand-painted alligator and toxic-symbol graphics sit over a green and yellow base, giving the Galigator its loud, cartoon-warning look. The design comes from community artist kenN, complete with the flavor line "CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!"

Galil AR | Galigator (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested sits in the middle of the Galigator's 0.00–1.00 float range. Some scuffing appears across the body at this grade, though the green-and-yellow base still holds its color well enough that the alligator artwork stays legible at a glance in-game.

Galil AR | Galigator Rarity

As a Restricted-grade finish, the Galigator sits in the purple tier — the middle of the standard weapon rarity ladder, rarer than Mil-Spec but a step below Classified.

Galil AR | Galigator Case and Collection

Part of The Dead Hand Collection from the March 2026 Dead Hand update, the Galigator is obtained through the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal. The Restricted tier collectively drops around 15.98% of the time there, a rate split across the tier's skins.

Galil AR | Galigator Patterns

Pattern-wise, the Galigator is fixed: the artwork lands the same way on every copy regardless of paint seed, so there's no special pattern or blue gem to look for. Wear and float alone separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This is a regular-only finish: no StatTrak counter and no Souvenir version exist for the Galigator. Souvenir drops require a Major-tournament package, and none has ever carried this skin.

Galil AR | Galigator Price

Field-Tested lands in the middle of the price range — a comfortable value spot for an affordable mid-tier finish that still shows the alligator graphic well. Pick it up quickly and securely on Skin.Land whenever you want it in your loadout.

FAQ

Is Field-Tested the best value grade of the Galigator?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear while the base color still hides the wear reasonably well, so the design reads clearly in most gameplay situations. If you want the sharpest possible look, step up to Factory New instead.

How rare is the Galigator overall?

There's no official count of how many exist, but as a Restricted finish tied to a single container, supply grows only as that container stays active. It's not a scarce grail, but it's a genuinely uncommon pull compared with lower-tier skins from the same collection.

Does the Galigator suit an aggressive playstyle loadout?

The bright, hazard-themed look fits players who like their loadout to make a statement rather than blend into the map. If you prefer a stealthier setup, a darker or more muted finish would match that style better than the Galigator's loud green and yellow.
