Galil AR | Stone Cold (Battle-Scarred)

Galil AR | Stone Cold (Battle-Scarred)

The Galil AR | Stone Cold (Battle-Scarred) is the roughest-looking grade of this Restricted, metallic-blue rifle skin. It's also the cheapest way to add the finish to a loadout.

Design

A solid layer of metallic blue paint gives the Galil AR its icy identity here, without any secondary graphics or decals competing for attention. The finish comes from community designer ClegFX and carries a flavor line that suits the theme: "Eventually you need to step outside of your mentor's shadow."

Galil AR | Stone Cold (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

The finish's float runs from 0 up to 0.90, meaning it's capped below the maximum of 1.0 — so even Battle-Scarred copies stay a bit milder than the roughest wear a skin can theoretically reach. Expect heavy scuffing, chipped paint, and a noticeably duller blue at this grade, but the design stays legible rather than turning into a mess of scratches.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, one step up from Mil-Spec Grade, which keeps it a reasonably uncommon result even at this wear level.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Case and Collection

This finish belongs to The Shadow Collection, dropping from the Shadow Case that debuted with the September 2015 update. Restricted-tier drops from that case land at roughly 16 percent as a group, and since the case has been out of active rotation for years, the market is now the standard way to pick up any exterior, including this one.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Patterns

No seed or pattern lottery applies here — the blue paint sits in the same place on every copy of the Stone Cold, so there's nothing like a rare "blue gem" variant to search for. Only wear grade and float set copies apart.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish is also available as a StatTrak™ version, which tracks confirmed kills and sells above the plain skin's price; the tally is permanent and travels with the weapon through trades. A Souvenir version has never existed, because Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never been part of one.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Price

Battle-Scarred is the entry point of the Stone Cold's price ladder, the cheapest way to get the blue finish into a loadout even though the base skin sits in premium territory for the Galil AR overall. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Stone Cold too damaged to look good?

Not really. The solid blue paint keeps the design readable even under heavy scuffing, and since the float is capped at 0.90 rather than the full 1.0, it never reaches the most extreme wear a skin can have. It's rough, but not unrecognizable.

Why does this finish never hit maximum wear?

Its float range tops out at 0.90 instead of 1.0, so the in-game wear system simply can't roll a copy past that point. That cap keeps even the worst Battle-Scarred copies a notch milder than a fully worn-out skin.

Is Battle-Scarred the best budget pick for a Galil AR skin?

It's one of the cheaper ways to own the Stone Cold specifically, and a solid budget option if the icy blue look appeals to you. If a different aesthetic works too, comparing prices across other Restricted Galil finishes is worth doing before committing.
