Galil AR | Stone Cold (Field-Tested)

Galil AR | Stone Cold (Field-Tested)

The Galil AR | Stone Cold (Field-Tested) keeps the finish's signature metallic blue paint job at a more affordable grade. It's the middle ground between top-tier condition and a lower entry price on this Restricted skin.

Design

A layer of metallic blue paint spans the whole weapon, keeping the look clean and monochrome rather than leaning on a printed graphic. The finish was created by community designer ClegFX and ships with a fitting line: "Eventually you need to step outside of your mentor's shadow."

Galil AR | Stone Cold (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

With float running from 0 to 0.90 across the finish, Field-Tested lands in the middle of that band. The blue paint starts to show light scuffing along edges and high-contact points, but the color itself stays visible and recognizable. It's the grade most players end up owning simply because it balances looks and price well.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Rarity

Rarity: Restricted. That's the purple tier, one notch above Mil-Spec Grade, making it a reasonably uncommon result from the case.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Case and Collection

The Stone Cold ships as part of The Shadow Collection, unboxed from the Shadow Case that launched with the September 2015 update. Restricted-tier pulls from that case land around 16 percent of the time as a group, and since the case itself is no longer actively circulating, the market has become the main place to find copies.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Patterns

The blue paint layout is fixed across every copy of this finish, so there's no pattern index or rare seed variation to search for. Float and wear grade are the only things that change how a given Stone Cold looks.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ edition of this finish is available, tracking confirmed kills and typically selling for more than the standard version; that tracker is permanent and stays attached through any trade. There's no Souvenir version, because Souvenir weapons are only produced from Major-tournament packages, which this finish has never been part of.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Price

Field-Tested sits in the middle of the Stone Cold's price ladder, noticeably cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the blue finish clearly readable — a fair entry into a premium-tier Galil AR skin. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested hide wear well on the Stone Cold?

Reasonably well. The solid blue paint shows some scuffing at this grade, mostly along edges and the magazine, but it doesn't fragment the color the way it might on a more detailed finish. The overall icy look still comes through clearly.

Is Field-Tested a good value pick for this skin?

Yes, for most buyers. It costs meaningfully less than Minimal Wear or Factory New while still showing off the blue paint clearly, making it a common choice for players who want the look without paying top dollar.

How does the Stone Cold compare to other Restricted Galil finishes?

Its single-color metallic paint sets it apart from busier Restricted-tier designs, giving it a cleaner, more minimalist identity. That simplicity is part of why the color stays legible even outside the top wear grades.
