Galil AR | Stone Cold (Well-Worn)

The Galil AR | Stone Cold (Well-Worn) shows the finish's metallic blue paint job with a clearer layer of battle damage. It's a budget-leaning way to own this Restricted skin without giving up the color entirely.

Design

The finish relies on metallic blue paint spread across the entire weapon body for its identity, rather than a printed decal or busy artwork. Community designer ClegFX put it together, and its flavor text nods to the theme: "Eventually you need to step outside of your mentor's shadow."

Galil AR | Stone Cold (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Float on this finish ranges from 0 to 0.90, and Well-Worn sits close to the top of that scale. Expect visible scratching and thinning paint across the body at this grade, with the blue tone looking duller than on cleaner exteriors. It's a clear step down in polish for a clear step down in price.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple grade sitting just above Mil-Spec Grade — still a decent pull compared to the more common results a case produces.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Case and Collection

Part of The Shadow Collection, this finish comes out of the Shadow Case first released with the September 2015 update. The Restricted tier collectively drops around 16 percent of the time from that case, and with the case retired from active circulation, most Well-Worn copies these days come from the market rather than a fresh open.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Patterns

Because the metallic blue paint is applied the same way to every copy, there's no seed-based pattern variety on this finish — no blue-gem lottery to chase. Wear grade and float are what actually distinguish one Stone Cold from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

StatTrak™ copies of this finish exist and add a kill counter, selling for more than a plain skin of the same grade; the counter is permanent and carries through any future trade. No Souvenir version has ever existed, since Souvenir weapons come exclusively from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never included in one.

Galil AR | Stone Cold Price

Well-Worn is one of the cheaper grades on the Stone Cold's ladder, sitting below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a real discount for players prioritizing cost over polish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How rough does the Well-Worn Stone Cold look?

Noticeably worn. The blue paint shows real scratching and some thinning at this grade, more than Field-Tested but not as heavy as Battle-Scarred. The color is still clearly identifiable, just less pristine.

Should I buy Well-Worn instead of Field-Tested?

Only if saving money matters more than surface polish. Field-Tested still looks noticeably cleaner for a modest price bump, so it's the better pick for most buyers, while Well-Worn suits those chasing the lowest reasonable price.

Does the Well-Worn grade affect the Stone Cold's rarity?

No. Wear grade only changes appearance and price, not how rare the underlying Restricted-tier finish is. A Well-Worn copy is exactly as hard to pull from the case as any other exterior of the same skin.
