Glock-18 | Brass (Factory New)
The Glock-18 | Brass (Factory New) is a Restricted pistol skin where parts of the weapon have been replaced with brass, giving it a warm gold-and-brass metallic patina. Factory New is the top grade for it, catching that patina at its brightest before any wear sets in.
Design
A Valve-made finish, the Brass swaps sections of the slide and frame for a brass-and-gold metallic patina, a look that darkens as the wear grade climbs. In-game, the finish carries the flavor line "Fool's gold."
Glock-18 | Brass (Factory New) Float and Wear
Float on the Brass runs the full 0.00–1.00 range, and Factory New sits right at the bottom of it. At this grade the brass patina reads brightest and most uniform, with no darkening yet creeping into the metal. It's the version to grab if you want the finish at its most vivid.
Glock-18 | Brass Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — a step up from Mil-Spec Grade and one below Classified. It's a solidly uncommon grade to see drop.
Glock-18 | Brass Case and Collection
The Brass belongs to The Dust Collection, dating back to the Arms Deal update in August 2013. It isn't tied to any weapon case, so copies come from collection drops and trade-ups rather than case openings.
Glock-18 | Brass Patterns
The Brass is a patina finish, so there's no rare blue-gem-style pattern to chase, but the brass texture itself still varies by paint seed — some seeds come in noticeably cleaner and more even than others. Collectors do pay attention to seed quality here, not just wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
This finish exists as a regular finish only, with no StatTrak version to chase. There's also no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons only ever come from Major-tournament packages, and the Brass was never handed out in one.
Glock-18 | Brass Price
Factory New sits at the top of the Brass price ladder, the premium way to own the finish at its brightest. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
What makes the Factory New Brass different from lower grades?
At Factory New the brass patina is at its most even and reflective, showing maximum contrast before any darkening creeps in. Lower grades gradually mute that shine, so Factory New is the pick for anyone chasing the brightest possible look.
Is the Glock-18 | Brass rare?
It sits in the Restricted tier, which is a genuinely uncommon grade — one step below Classified and above Mil-Spec Grade. It's not a top-tier grail, but it's not a common pull either.
Does the Brass have a StatTrak version?
No. This finish only exists as a regular skin — there's no StatTrak counter variant to look for, so copies on the market differ mainly by wear, float, and paint seed.
