Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner (Battle-Scarred)

Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner (Battle-Scarred)

The Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner is a blue patina finish polished away in patches to leave a graphic flame design across the slide. Battle-Scarred is the roughest-looking and cheapest way to own that flame pattern, and because this finish's float never reaches a full 1.0, even this bottom grade stays milder than a maxed-out Battle-Scarred skin elsewhere.

Design

The concept here is simple and comes from community designer PTP: a blue patina polished off in sections until a flame shape shows through on the slide. There's no additional artwork layered on top — the patina and the polish work are the entire design.

Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

This finish's float range runs 0 to 0.8, capped well short of the usual 1.0 ceiling, and Battle-Scarred sits at that top end. Practically, that means even the worst-looking copy of this skin is noticeably milder than a full-range Battle-Scarred finish elsewhere — the flame pattern gets muddier and the patina rougher, but it never hits the extreme grime a 1.0-float skin can reach.

Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner Rarity

This is a Mil-Spec Grade finish, the most commonly produced rarity tier from the Falchion Case.

Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner Case and Collection

Sourced from the Falchion Case and part of The Falchion Collection, the Bunsen Burner debuted in May 2015 alongside Operation Bloodhound. As a Mil-Spec pull, it's one of the case's most frequent outcomes, showing up in around four of every five opens.

Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner Patterns

There's no rare pattern tier to chase on this finish, but paint seed still shapes how each copy looks — the patina texture varies from copy to copy, and at Battle-Scarred that variation can mean the difference between a slightly cleaner-looking worn copy and a genuinely rough one.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish exists as a regular finish and a StatTrak version, both pulled from the Falchion Case. No Souvenir edition has been made, since Souvenir weapons come exclusively from Major-tournament packages, and the Bunsen Burner has never been part of one.

Glock-18 | Bunsen Burner Price

Battle-Scarred is the most affordable grade on this finish's price ladder, sitting at the entry point for anyone who wants the Bunsen Burner's flame design for the least money. Even at this price the finish stays within an overall affordable mid-tier range. Skin.Land's Glock-18 market page tracks current stock for this grade.

FAQ

Is Battle-Scarred as rough-looking as other Battle-Scarred skins?

Not quite. Because the Bunsen Burner's float caps at 0.8 instead of the usual 1.0, even its worst grade stays a bit milder than a Battle-Scarred skin with a full float range. The flame pattern gets muddier and the patina rougher, but it doesn't reach the most extreme wear look possible.

Why buy Battle-Scarred over a cleaner grade?

Price is the main draw — it's the cheapest way to own this flame design, and thanks to the capped float it doesn't look nearly as beat up as Battle-Scarred grades on other skins. It's a solid pick for players who care more about the pattern than pristine surface texture.

Can you get StatTrak Battle-Scarred on this finish?

Yes, StatTrak is available across this finish's full wear range, including Battle-Scarred, all sourced from the Falchion Case. There's still no Souvenir option at any wear grade, since that variant requires a Major-tournament package the Bunsen Burner has never been offered in.
