Glock-18 | Clear Polymer (Battle-Scarred)
The Glock-18 | Clear Polymer (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a tan slide and a blue trigger, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into this minimalist two-tone Glock, trading surface finish for the lowest entry price.
Design
The design stays spare: a tan slide against a blue trigger, a futuristic two-tone look that swaps busy graphics for straight color contrast. Community artist Strenson built it, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "What you see is what you get."
Glock-18 | Clear Polymer (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the tan slide wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, thinning the finish in places. The blue trigger survives as the anchor that keeps the skin readable. Since Clear Polymer runs the full 0.00–1.00 float range, this grade reaches the roughest end of the scale.
Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It sits at the entry level of the standard weapon grades and is the most common band to unbox — a big part of why this skin is so affordable at every wear.
Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Case and Collection
Clear Polymer sits in The Snakebite Collection and is unboxed from the Snakebite Case, released together with the end of the Broken Fang update in May 2021. As a group the Mil-Spec tier drops about 79.92% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so copies are easy to come by on the market.
Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Patterns
There's no random pattern variation on this finish — the tan slide and blue trigger sit the same way on every copy, so nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" is worth hunting. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Glock-18 | Clear Polymer is also out there, adding a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, more expensive Snakebite Case drop than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over through every trade or sale. No Souvenir version was ever produced — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Snakebite Case has never been a Major drop.
Glock-18 | Clear Polymer Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the two-tone design for players who care more about the look than the surface condition. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Clear Polymer still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the tan slide and the bright blue trigger keep the two-tone design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look entirely.
Should I buy Battle-Scarred or spend a little more?
Go Battle-Scarred if the absolute lowest price is the goal and worn paint doesn't bother you. If you'd rather the slide show less damage, Well-Worn or Field-Tested cost only a little more and keep the finish tidier, which most buyers find worth the small step up.
Which gloves go with Clear Polymer?
Its tan-and-blue palette suits a light, two-tone loadout, so sand or blue gloves work best — a tan pair echoes the slide, while a blue accent picks up the trigger. Desert or navy wraps both slot in cleanly without fighting the minimalist look.
