Death Rattle keeps it minimal: a snakeskin patterned hydrographic over a sleek gray base, an understated, tactical look built on clean lines. Designed by Valve, it ships with an in-game line: "I know you don't believe in the cause...and when I expose you, Valeria will have your head - The Shield and The Serpent Part 1."

At Battle-Scarred the coat wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the gray thins in places. The snakeskin scaling survives as the anchor that keeps the skin readable. Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred version look completely trashed?
