Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo (Factory New)
The Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo (Factory New) is a Restricted pistol skin — a coiling dragon decal laid over a metallic base coat. Factory New is the cleanest grade the finish comes in, showing the artwork at its most vivid.
Design
The look is built from a single dragon decal printed over a metallic base coat, a vibrant, motif-driven design rather than a busy graphic wrap. It's a community piece by Daniel Sadowski, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "In a fairy tale the knight always slays the dragon... but this is the real world" — Valeria Jenner, Revolutionary.
Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo (Factory New) Float and Wear
This finish is float-capped at 0.08, so the whole skin lives in a narrow 0.00–0.08 band and every copy stays close to pristine. At Factory New the dragon reads sharp against the metallic coat with no visible scuffing, the top of a very short two-grade ladder. If you want the artwork exactly as intended, this is the grade to reach for.
Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, sitting in the upper half of the standard weapon grades. It's a step above the common Mil-Spec drops and a genuinely uncommon pull from a case.
Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo Case and Collection
The Dragon Tattoo belongs to The Arms Deal Collection and drops from the CS:GO Weapon Case, released with the Arms Deal update in August 2013 — the case that started the whole skin economy. The Restricted tier as a whole unboxes about 15.98% of the time (a rate shared across the tier's skins), and with this first-ever case long out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed and most copies change hands on the market.
Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo Patterns
The finish has no random pattern variation — the dragon decal sits the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to chase. Wear and float are the only things that separate one from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier drop from the CS:GO Weapon Case than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and the Arms Deal Collection has never been a Major drop.
Glock-18 | Dragon Tattoo Price
Factory New sits at the very top of this skin's short price ladder as the highest grade available — and the finish itself is grail-tier money among Glock-18 skins, one of the most coveted pistol finishes in the game. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Why is the Dragon Tattoo so expensive?
It's one of the oldest skins in the game, from the original Arms Deal case, and the striking dragon motif has kept it in demand for years. Fixed supply from a long-retired case plus lasting collector prestige pushes it into grail-tier pricing, well above most Glock finishes.
Is there a lower grade than Factory New?
Only Minimal Wear. The finish is capped at a 0.08 float, so it comes in just two grades — Factory New and Minimal Wear — and both look close to flawless. Factory New is the highest, but the tight cap means even Minimal Wear stays remarkably tidy.
Which gloves go with the Dragon Tattoo?
The dragon's warm reds and metallic base suit a red or dark loadout, so red-accented or black gloves work best — a red pair picks up the decal, while darker wraps let the metallic coat carry the look. It pairs naturally with other red-themed pistols in a matching set.
