Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 (Field-Tested)
The Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 (Field-Tested) is a Covert pistol skin from the green Doppler family, wearing the Phase 2 arrangement of its black-and-green marble. Field-Tested is the more accessible grade, adding some honest wear to a green that still comes through with real depth.
Design
Doppler's green variant combines black and silver metallic paint in a marbleizing medium under a candy-coat gloss, giving a green-and-black marble rather than a blue one. Phase 2 distributes that marble in its own fashion, running green through the dark base so the pistol keeps a bright, glassy shimmer as it moves under the lights.
Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Across the 0.00–0.50 float range, Field-Tested settles into the middle stretch. Light scratching shows along the slide edges and the candy coat softens a little, but the green marble remains the dominant feature and holds most of its saturation. It's the grade that weighs the Phase 2 pattern's color against a more approachable price.
Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 Rarity
Rarity: Covert — the red, top-most tier for a standard weapon finish. Within the collection the Covert entries appear at around 0.64% (a rate shared across the entire tier), which keeps any Gamma Doppler Glock uncommon regardless of the phase it becomes.
Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 Case and Collection
This skin comes from The 2021 Train Collection, released as Operation Riptide launched in September 2021. It never had a dedicated case; the finish surfaced as a collection drop over the operation's run. With Riptide finished, no fresh copies join the pool, so the secondary market covers supply today.
Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 Patterns
Gamma Doppler spans multiple phases — Phase 1 to Phase 4 and the rare Emerald — with the phase deciding how green and black sit across the metal. This copy is Phase 2, carrying its particular swirl. Because the phase governs the appearance, buyers seek it out specifically, and Skin.Land's phase filter lets you find Phase 2 listings on demand.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You'll find this finish as a standard skin only — neither StatTrak nor Souvenir was made for it. StatTrak versions exist purely as alternate case unboxings, and because this Gamma Doppler shipped in a collection rather than a weapon case, no counter edition was created. A Souvenir version is ruled out too, as those come only from Major-tournament packages that never carried this skin.
Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler Phase 2 Price
Field-Tested lands mid-ladder for Phase 2 — below the two top grades yet keeping most of the green — which makes it the practical way into the pattern. It sits under Emerald in value while staying a premium Covert Glock. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Phase 2 still look vivid?
Yes. The green marble stands up to light edge scratching, so the slide still reads as a deep, glossy green in a match. A close inspection reveals some softening on the candy coat, but from playing distance the Phase 2 pattern's green holds the spotlight.
Is Field-Tested the best-value Phase 2?
For most buyers, yes. It costs clearly less than Factory New and Minimal Wear while keeping the green largely intact, so you get the Phase 2 pattern without top-grade money. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred drop lower again if you want the cheapest entry and accept more visible wear.
How do I tell Phase 2 from the other phases?
Look at how the green and black are distributed across the slide — each numbered phase arranges the marble differently, so Phase 2 has its own recognizable signature. Collectors who care about the exact pattern compare phases directly, which is why Skin.Land lets you filter listings by phase.
