Glock-18 | Glockingbird (Minimal Wear)

Glock-18 | Glockingbird (Minimal Wear)

The Glock-18 | Glockingbird (Minimal Wear) is a Restricted-grade pistol finish with a green-and-yellow body and a silver mockingbird. Minimal Wear keeps the artwork looking near-flawless while shaving a little off the Factory New price.

Design

The look is all cheerful bird theme: a green-and-yellow base topped with a silver mockingbird across the slide, a whimsical design Valve made in-house rather than a community submission. It carries a fitting in-game line: "Let nothing stop your song."

Glock-18 | Glockingbird (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Across the finish floats run from 0.00 to 0.67, and Minimal Wear occupies the band just above Factory New. At this grade any wear is minimal and hard to spot, the green and yellow stay saturated, and the silver mockingbird holds its detail. For most players it's visually all but indistinguishable from the top grade.

Glock-18 | Glockingbird Rarity

Rarity: Restricted. That's the purple tier — a mid-grade rung that ranks above Mil-Spec and one step under Classified in the skin hierarchy.

Glock-18 | Glockingbird Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Boreal Collection, introduced with the Spring Forward update on March 31, 2025. Within that collection the Restricted tier pulls at about 15.98% (a figure shared among the tier's skins), which means the market is where most copies are found rather than in-game drops.

Glock-18 | Glockingbird Patterns

The finish has no random pattern variation — the silver mockingbird and the green-and-yellow base are placed the same way on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth hunting. Only wear and float separate one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is no StatTrak edition of this skin; StatTrak pistols are produced through weapon cases, and Glockingbird was never distributed in one. A Souvenir version is off the table too, because Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and The Boreal Collection has never been a Major drop.

Glock-18 | Glockingbird Price

Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the price ladder while looking almost the same, which makes it a smart pick for value hunters. The finish is budget-tier across Glock-18 skins to begin with, so this grade is an easy, low-cost way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Minimal Wear look different from Factory New?

Barely. Any wear at this grade is faint and tough to notice in-game, so the green, yellow, and silver read almost exactly as they do at Factory New. The main draw is the slightly lower price for a look that's practically identical to the top condition.

Is Minimal Wear the best value grade?

For a lot of buyers, yes. It undercuts Factory New while keeping virtually the same appearance, and the whole finish already sits in budget territory. If you want the artwork looking its best without paying for the very top grade, this is the sweet spot.

Who designed the Glockingbird?

Valve created it as part of The Boreal Collection, released with the Spring Forward update in March 2025. Rather than a community artist's work, it's an in-house design built around a playful bird theme, complete with the flavor line "Let nothing stop your song."
