Glock-18 | Reactor (Field-Tested)

Glock-18 | Reactor (Field-Tested)

The Glock-18 | Reactor (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin — a bold orange body printed with metallic nuclear hazard symbols, here in the most common condition. Field-Tested is the everyday way to run the finish: some honest wear on a design loud enough to shrug it off, for well below the higher grades.

Design

At its core the finish is a bright orange coat on the Glock-18, overlaid with a pattern of nuclear hazard symbols in metallic paint — an industrial, warning-sign aesthetic that favors visibility over fine linework. It's a Valve in-house design, built around loud color and a single repeating icon.

Glock-18 | Reactor (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested spans roughly 0.15–0.38 of Reactor's full 0.00–1.00 float range. Here the finish picks up light-to-moderate scratching on the slide and edges, but the bright orange base keeps the skin reading clearly, and the metallic hazard symbols hold their shape regardless of float. This is the grade most players end up with, and it's the value sweet spot of the range.

Glock-18 | Reactor Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, sitting at the bottom rung of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common of the colored rarities, yet the finish's brightness makes it feel a good deal flashier than its grade.

Glock-18 | Reactor Case and Collection

Reactor is a member of The Cache Collection, introduced with the July 2014 update. Its Souvenir copies come out of Cache Souvenir Packages distributed at Majors, and inside one of those the Mil-Spec tier is the most frequent result, showing up about 80% of the time — an odds figure shared across every skin in the tier.

Glock-18 | Reactor Patterns

There's nothing random to hunt on Reactor: the orange base and the hazard-symbol arrangement print the same on each copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" applies here. The only real difference between copies is how much wear and float they carry.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak Reactor. StatTrak is a mechanic tied to weapon-case drops, and this finish comes from a collection linked to Souvenir packages rather than a case, so the counter version was never created. A Souvenir edition does exist — it drops from Cache Souvenir Packages at Majors, first at ESL One Cologne 2014, with each copy marking a specific tournament.

Glock-18 | Reactor Price

Field-Tested is the value heart of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping nearly the same bold look, which is a big reason it's the go-to grade. It's a premium finish that still won't drain the wallet. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested Reactor look worn?

A bit, but not badly. Expect light-to-moderate scratching on the slide and edges, though the bright orange coat masks it well and the metallic hazard symbols stay sharp. In-game it still reads as a bold, colorful pistol, which is why so many players are happy with this grade.

Is Field-Tested the best value Reactor?

For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear while keeping the finish's signature loudness, and it's the most plentiful grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred sit lower still if you want the cheapest entry and don't mind heavier scuffing.

Does Reactor have a Souvenir version?

Yes. Souvenir Reactors come only from Cache Souvenir Packages handed out at Majors, the first being ESL One Cologne 2014. They're a separate collectible from the standard skin and each is tied to a real tournament match, which makes them scarcer and generally sought-after by collectors.
