Glock-18 | Reactor (Minimal Wear)

Glock-18 | Reactor (Minimal Wear)

The Glock-18 | Reactor (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a bright orange body and a pattern of metallic nuclear hazard symbols. Minimal Wear keeps the finish looking almost untouched — a hair of edge wear on a design that stays bold — for less than the top grade.

Design

The finish covers the Glock-18 in a bold orange coat and prints nuclear hazard symbols across it in metallic paint, an industrial warning-sign motif that trades fine detail for pure visibility. Valve designed it in-house, leaning on loud color and a repeating icon to do the heavy lifting.

Glock-18 | Reactor (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Minimal Wear covers roughly the 0.07–0.15 slice of Reactor's 0.00–1.00 float range. At this level the orange stays vibrant and the metallic symbols keep their edge, with only faint wear along the slide and grip that you'd have to look for. For most buyers it's near-indistinguishable from the top grade at a friendlier price.

Glock-18 | Reactor Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier. It's the entry rung of the standard weapon grades and the most common of the colored rarities, but the bright finish gives Reactor far more presence than the grade suggests.

Glock-18 | Reactor Case and Collection

Part of The Cache Collection that launched in the July 2014 update, Reactor reaches players in Souvenir form through Cache Souvenir Packages dropped at Majors. Within one of those packages the Mil-Spec tier is the likeliest outcome, appearing around 80% of the time — a rate the whole tier shares.

Glock-18 | Reactor Patterns

Reactor carries no random pattern variation: the orange base and the hazard-symbol layout are fixed the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak Reactor was never made — StatTrak variants come from weapon cases, and this finish isn't part of one, so no confirmed-kill counter exists for it. There is a Souvenir version, however, produced only in Cache Souvenir Packages given out at Majors; the first came from ESL One Cologne 2014, and each Souvenir copy is tied to a particular event.

Glock-18 | Reactor Price

Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on the price ladder while looking almost identical, which makes it the smart-value end of the premium range. It's a strong pick for anyone who wants top-grade looks without paying the very top price. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Minimal Wear worth it over Field-Tested?

It depends on your budget. Minimal Wear keeps the orange vibrant with only faint edge wear, while Field-Tested picks up more visible scuffing for less money. Since the bright base stays legible either way, pay up for Minimal Wear if you want the finish looking near-new; otherwise Field-Tested is the value play.

Does Minimal Wear Reactor show any wear?

Only a little. Light abrasion can appear along the slide edges and grip, but the orange coat and metallic hazard symbols stay bright and well-defined. At a glance, and certainly in-game, most copies read as good as new — you'd need a close inspection to spot the difference from Factory New.

Is Reactor a good pistol skin for the price?

For a Mil-Spec, it punches above its grade. The loud orange and radiation motif give it real personality that pricier pistols don't always match, and Minimal Wear delivers that look with barely any wear. As a premium finish within the Glock-18 lineup, it's a well-liked choice.
