Glock-18 | Steel Disruption (Factory New)

Glock-18 | Steel Disruption (Factory New)

The Glock-18 | Steel Disruption (Factory New) is a Restricted pistol skin with a gray, chromed slide broken up by a pixelated digital camouflage pattern. Factory New shows that metallic finish at its sharpest, since the skin is float-capped low enough that no wear grade ever gets truly rough.

Design

Valve built the Steel Disruption around a chromed, gray metallic base with a pixelated digital camo pattern layered across the slide, while the rest of the pistol stays unpainted. It's a tactical, industrial look that leans on texture and contrast rather than color.

Glock-18 | Steel Disruption (Factory New) Float and Wear

The Steel Disruption is capped at a low 0.20 float, with Factory New sitting at the very bottom near 0.00. Because the whole finish stays under this ceiling, even its worst-looking copies stay far short of a heavily battered skin — at Factory New the chrome and camo pattern come through crisp with essentially no visible wear.

Glock-18 | Steel Disruption Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — sitting above Classified-adjacent common grades but below the rarer Covert finishes, a solid mid-to-upper pull from a case.

Glock-18 | Steel Disruption Case and Collection

This finish belongs to The eSports 2014 Summer Collection and drops from the eSports 2014 Summer Case, released back in July 2014. Restricted-tier skins land around 15.98% of the time from that case, a rate shared across the tier rather than unique to the Steel Disruption.

Glock-18 | Steel Disruption Patterns

There's no random pattern roll on this finish — the camo layout and chrome base sit the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt down. Wear and float are the only things that change between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ Steel Disruption exists, pulled from the same eSports 2014 Summer Case, adding a permanent kill counter that carries through trades and sales. There's no Souvenir version, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and this collection has never been tied to one.

Glock-18 | Steel Disruption Price

Factory New sits at the top of the Steel Disruption's price ladder, its cleanest and priciest condition, while the finish overall stays in an affordable mid-tier bracket. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Why is there no Battle-Scarred Steel Disruption?

The finish is float-capped at 0.20, well short of the 0.45+ needed for Battle-Scarred or Well-Worn to appear. Field-Tested is as worn as this skin ever gets, so all its copies stay relatively clean by design.

Is Factory New worth paying extra for?

Because the whole finish already stays under a low float cap, the visual gap between grades is small. Factory New gets you the sharpest possible chrome and camo detailing, but Minimal Wear looks very close for less.

Which gloves pair well with the Steel Disruption?

The gray, industrial palette suits gray or black gloves for a stealthy, monochrome loadout, or hand wraps with a metallic tone to keep the tactical theme consistent across the setup.
