Glock-18 | Trace Lock (Field-Tested)
The Glock-18 | Trace Lock (Field-Tested) carries the same grayscale circles and fine technical linework under a holographic-style overlay, at a moderate wear level. It's the most commonly seen grade of this Restricted finish, balancing looks and price.
Design
Fine technical linework and layered circles run under a holographic-style overlay here, all done in monochrome to fit the Achroma Collection's black-and-white theme. Valve designed the finish, and it ships with the fitting line "Graphical maps of holographic systems."
Glock-18 | Trace Lock (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested sits around the middle of the finish's 0.00–0.70 float range, picking up light scuffing on the grip panels and slide edges. The grayscale palette actually hides some of that wear well, since there's no bright color to contrast against scratches, so the linework still reads clearly. It's the grade most copies on the market land in.
Glock-18 | Trace Lock Rarity
The rarity is Restricted Grade — one tier above Mil-Spec and one below Classified, a moderately uncommon pull rather than a common or a rare one.
Glock-18 | Trace Lock Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Achroma Collection, which debuted with The Fourth Season update in January 2026. Restricted-tier pieces from that collection drop at about 16 percent overall, a rate shared across the whole tier rather than tied to this specific skin.
Glock-18 | Trace Lock Patterns
The circle-and-linework design is fixed across every copy of the Trace Lock, so there's no random pattern roll and nothing like a "blue gem" to hunt for. Only the wear level changes the look from one copy to the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Neither a StatTrak nor a Souvenir edition exists for this finish — it's available only as a regular skin. Since Souvenir weapons come exclusively from Major-tournament packages and the Achroma Collection has never been featured in one, there's no mechanism for a Souvenir Trace Lock to exist.
Glock-18 | Trace Lock Price
Field-Tested sits in the middle of the finish's price ladder, cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New but ahead of the more worn grades. It's a comfortable point within the Trace Lock's affordable mid-tier pricing. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Field-Tested wear show much on the Trace Lock?
Not as much as you'd expect. Since the finish is grayscale with no bright colors to contrast against scratches, light scuffing at this grade blends in reasonably well, and the technical linework stays legible. It's a common middle-ground pick for buyers.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes — it costs less than the top two grades while still showing the linework and holographic overlay clearly, thanks to the forgiving grayscale base. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if price is the only priority.
What gloves suit the Trace Lock?
Black or white gloves keep the monochrome theme consistent, while a pair with gray or silver accents can pick up on the holographic overlay's tone. It leans toward a clean, minimalist loadout rather than a colorful one.
