M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy (Field-Tested)
The M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy (Field-Tested) is a Classified rifle skin with an anodized black-and-orange body and a futuristic, atomic-motif metallic look. Field-Tested is the most common and recognizable way to own it — a touch of honest wear on a design that still carries plenty of punch, for well under the higher grades.
Design
Built by the community team at FACEIT.com, the finish is unapologetically sci-fi. The metal is anodized in black and orange and dressed with atomic motifs across a metallic surface, a high-contrast design aimed at players who want their loadout to look futuristic instead of purely tactical.
M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
With float ranging 0.00–0.90 overall, Field-Tested lands in the middle band. The finish picks up light scratching along the edges and high points, but the dark anodized base absorbs a fair amount of it, so the orange accents and atomic detailing still carry the look. This is the grade most players picture — the sweet spot between appearance and price.
M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, ranked just beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is genuinely uncommon.
M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy Case and Collection
This finish sits in The Huntsman Collection and is unboxed from the Huntsman Weapon Case, released together with the "The Hunt Begins" update in May 2014. As a group the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time from the case (that figure is shared across the tier's skins), and because the Huntsman Case is out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed — buyers pick up most copies on the market rather than from a case.
M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy Patterns
Because the anodized black-and-orange surface and its atomic motifs are placed the same way on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt. What separates one copy from another comes down to wear and float alone.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version does exist and tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. A Souvenir edition was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and the Huntsman Collection has never been a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Atomic Alloy Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping most of the look, which is a big part of why it's the go-to grade for this finish. It's a premium M4A1-S pick that still won't break the bank, available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested version look worn?
Only lightly. The anodized black base masks a good share of the scratching, so a Field-Tested copy reads well from a normal distance, with wear showing mainly on the edges and high points up close. The orange accents and atomic motifs stay legible, so the skin keeps its signature futuristic identity.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs meaningfully less than Minimal Wear while keeping the design's impact largely intact, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing on the body.
Which gloves go with Atomic Alloy?
The black-and-orange palette suits a warm, high-contrast loadout, so orange or tan gloves work best — a warm pair picks up the anodized accents, while black or dark wraps keep the futuristic base intact. Match it with other orange-accented gear to pull a sci-fi loadout together.
