M4A1-S | Electrum (Field-Tested)
The M4A1-S | Electrum (Field-Tested) is a Restricted rifle skin with a marbled green body and gold and red accents, here carrying a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common way to own the finish, balancing looks against a lower price.
Design
At its core this is a marbled green base marked by gold and red accents that run across the receiver and body — a custom paint job with an ornate, metallic character that sets it apart from plainer M4A1-S finishes. It began as a community submission from the artist moonfighter, and it comes with an in-game line: "They don't pay you enough to carry that, but I will - Valeria Jenner, Revolutionary."
M4A1-S | Electrum (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
At Field-Tested the finish shows light scratching along the edges and high points, and the marbled green loses a little of its depth compared with the higher grades. The gold and red accents still carry the design, so the skin holds its character in-game. This is the grade most players land on — the middle ground between condition and cost.
M4A1-S | Electrum Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple grade, ranked above Mil-Spec and beneath Classified, which puts it comfortably in the upper-middle of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one from a case is a satisfying, uncommon result.
M4A1-S | Electrum Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Dead Hand Collection and drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal, released alongside the Dead Hand update in March 2026. The Restricted tier as a whole drops around 15.98% of the time from the case (an odds figure shared across the tier's skins), making it one of the more reachable purples to unbox.
M4A1-S | Electrum Patterns
Because the marbled green and its gold-and-red accents sit the same way on every Electrum, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. The only things that separate one copy from another are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak Electrum in circulation, so a kill-counter version isn't something you can find. The same goes for Souvenir: none was ever produced, because Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Dead Hand Collection has never been a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Electrum Price
Field-Tested is the value heart of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the green-and-gold design fully readable, which is why it's the most-traded grade. Since the Electrum already sits in the budget end of the M4A1-S lineup, this is an easy entry point. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Field-Tested Electrum look?
Moderately. Expect light scratching on the edges and a slight dulling of the marbled green versus the top grades, but nothing that buries the design. The gold and red accents still stand out, so the skin keeps its distinctive character at typical in-game distances.
Is Field-Tested the best value Electrum?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear but keeps the green-and-gold look clearly intact, and it's the easiest grade to find on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and accept heavier wear.
Which gloves go with the Electrum?
Its green base and gold accents suit an earthy, warm-metal loadout, so olive, forest-green, or gold-toned gloves work best — a green pair echoes the marbled base while gold-accented wraps pick up the metallic detailing for a cohesive look.
