M4A1-S | Liquidation (Field-Tested)
The M4A1-S | Liquidation (Field-Tested) is a Restricted rifle skin with a dark base and glowing red and blue highlights, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and recognizable way to own the finish, balancing looks against a lower price.
Design
At its core the finish is a dark, industrial body cut by red and blue accents that glow under ambient light. Community designer Mei is behind it, and she carried the same aesthetic into the matching MP5-SD | Liquidation — both share sharp contrast and metallic detailing. A quiet in-game line rounds it out: "Quiet reflection."
M4A1-S | Liquidation (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
On the finish's 0.00–1.00 scale, Field-Tested lands in the middle. The skin picks up light scratching along the edges and high-contact areas, but the dark base absorbs it well, so most copies still read clean at a glance and the glowing highlights hold up regardless of float. This is the grade most players picture — the sweet spot between appearance and cost.
M4A1-S | Liquidation Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier. It slots above Mil-Spec and beneath Classified, making it a mid-high grade among the standard weapon rarities and a fairly uncommon case pull.
M4A1-S | Liquidation Case and Collection
The Liquidation is a Genesis Collection skin that comes out of the Sealed Genesis Terminal case, which launched alongside the Show Off update in September 2025. The Restricted tier pulls at roughly 15.98% across the case (a rate the whole tier shares), so it's one of the outcomes you'll see more often than the top grades.
M4A1-S | Liquidation Patterns
No random pattern applies to this finish: the base and its red and blue highlights land the same way on each copy, so there's nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Copies differ only in their wear and float values.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition of this skin was never made, so you won't find a kill-counter version at any wear. The same goes for Souvenir — those weapons drop only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Genesis Collection has never been tied to a Major.
M4A1-S | Liquidation Price
Field-Tested is the value core of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping most of the look thanks to the wear-hiding dark base. On a finish that's already budget-friendly for an M4A1-S, it's about as accessible as the design gets while still presenting well. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested finish look worn?
Only a little. The dark, near-black base masks scratches unusually well, so a Field-Tested copy reads as tidy to most eyes, with light edge wear visible only on close inspection. The glowing red and blue detail isn't affected by float, so the skin's signature look always comes through.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear and Factory New but looks close because the base hides wear, and it's the most common exterior on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing.
Is there a StatTrak version of this grade?
No. This finish shipped without any StatTrak variant, so a confirmed-kill counter isn't available in Field-Tested or any other wear — the standard skin is the only option.
