M4A1-S | Master Piece (Field-Tested)
The M4A1-S | Master Piece (Field-Tested) is a Classified rifle skin dressing the silenced M4 in vibrant wildstyle graffiti. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — visible but honest wear on a finish that stays easy to read.
Design
Custom-painted with wildstyle graffiti, the Master Piece is a Valve creation built on vibrant color and abstract motifs layered across the M4A1-S body. It's an expressive, art-first finish that trades tactical camo for something far bolder.
M4A1-S | Master Piece (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Float on this finish covers the whole 0.00–1.00 range, and Field-Tested sits in the middle of it. Here the paint picks up light scratching on the edges and raised areas, though the busy graffiti hides much of it and keeps the artwork legible. It's the grade most players actually buy — a fair trade of a little wear for a much friendlier price.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, sitting directly beneath Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon tiers. Pulling one is genuinely uncommon.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Case and Collection
Belonging to The Overpass Collection, the Master Piece debuted alongside Operation Breakout in June 2014. It isn't a case skin — it circulates through Overpass Souvenir Packages, starting with the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package. The Classified tier as a whole drops around 3.2% (that odds figure is shared across the tier), so copies are limited and mostly traded on the market.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Patterns
The graffiti prints the same on every copy, so the Master Piece carries no random pattern variation — there's no paint seed to compare and no "blue gem" to hunt. Only wear and float set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak variant was ever made. Because StatTrak is a case-drop feature and this finish only ever shipped through souvenir packages, a kill-counter edition simply doesn't exist. The Souvenir version does, however — it comes from Major-tournament Overpass Souvenir Packages, and premium souvenir copies can feature autograph stickers and a gold nameplate.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Price
Field-Tested is the value entry point among the higher grades — cheaper than Minimal Wear and Factory New while keeping the design fully recognizable. Even so, this is a grail-tier M4A1-S, so "value" here is relative to a finish that's expensive across the board. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Master Piece look worn?
Only mildly. Scratches show up on the edges and high-contact areas, but the dense, colorful graffiti absorbs a lot of that damage and the artwork stays vivid and easy to read. Most players consider Field-Tested the sweet spot between visible condition and a more approachable price.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while still showing the graffiti clearly, and it's the most available grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still, but the extra wear starts to eat into the artwork's punch.
Which gloves match the Master Piece?
The finish's bold, multi-color graffiti welcomes an expressive loadout, so vivid or street-art-styled gloves complement it nicely. If you'd rather let the artwork lead, neutral white or gray gloves keep the rifle as the centerpiece without clashing with the busy palette.
