M4A1-S | Master Piece (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Master Piece (Well-Worn) is a Classified rifle skin showing the silenced M4's vibrant wildstyle graffiti in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper route into a grail-tier finish, with wear the busy artwork partly disguises.
Design
The Master Piece is a Valve finish, custom-painted with wildstyle graffiti that spreads vibrant, abstract motifs over the whole body. Its art-driven, graffiti-heavy style is what makes it pop against the more muted skins around it.
M4A1-S | Master Piece (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
This finish uses the full 0.00–1.00 float range, and Well-Worn sits toward the rough end of it. At this grade there's clear paint loss and scuffing across the receiver, magazine, and edges, thinning the color in places — though the graffiti's density means the design still comes through. It's for players who care more about price than a flawless surface.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It ranks just below Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon grades, making it an uncommon grade to unbox.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Case and Collection
Part of The Overpass Collection released with Operation Breakout back in June 2014, the Master Piece isn't found in any weapon case. Instead it drops from Overpass Souvenir Packages, the first of which was the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package. As a group the Classified tier pulls at roughly 3.2% (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so supply stays scarce and market-based.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Patterns
Since the graffiti sits identically on every copy, this finish has no random pattern roll — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. What separates copies is purely their wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak edition of this skin. StatTrak is generated through weapon-case drops, and the Master Piece only ever came from souvenir packages, so no counter version was produced. A Souvenir edition does exist, sourced from Major-tournament Overpass Souvenir Packages, with the standout copies bearing autograph stickers and gold nameplates that collectors chase.
M4A1-S | Master Piece Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a more affordable way into the design for players who won't pay mid-grade money. On a grail-tier finish, though, even the lower grades carry a real price. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Master Piece look?
Noticeably. You'll see obvious scuffing and paint thinning on the magazine, receiver, and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The graffiti's density keeps the design recognizable, so it still reads as the Master Piece in-game despite the wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mainly if you're minimizing spend. Field-Tested looks distinctly better for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the design as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Does the wear hurt the artwork?
Some, but less than you'd expect. The busy, high-color graffiti absorbs scratches better than a plain or single-tone finish would, so even with visible paint loss the abstract motifs stay legible. You lose surface polish, not the overall identity of the design.
