M4A1-S | Mecha Industries (Well-Worn)

M4A1-S | Mecha Industries (Well-Worn)

The M4A1-S | Mecha Industries (Well-Worn) is a Covert rifle skin with a white industrial body, black inserts, and light red mechanical markings, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into a popular futuristic M4, with wear the light plating openly shows.

Design

At its core this finish is bright white armor plating marked by black inserts on the barrel, magazine, and portions of the receiver and buttstock, with small light red tech-style markings scattered across it. The mix of angular plates and smooth polymer lends the M4 a cyber-industrial, sci-fi look. Designed by the community artist coyote37, it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Featuring all new technology."

M4A1-S | Mecha Industries (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

On the finish's 0.00–0.80 float scale, Well-Worn falls toward the higher end. The white base makes the damage plain here — clear scuffing and paint loss spread across the magazine, receiver, and edges, where the plating thins out. The black inserts and red markings still carry the design and keep it recognizable, so for players who care more about price than a spotless surface, this grade delivers the mecha look for less.

M4A1-S | Mecha Industries Rarity

Rarity: Covert, the red tier — the highest grade among standard weapon skins and the rarest class you can pull from a case, one rung above Classified.

M4A1-S | Mecha Industries Case and Collection

Belonging to The Gamma Collection, this skin drops from the Gamma Case that launched with the Gamma Exposure update back in June 2016. The Covert tier unboxes roughly 0.64% of the time as a group (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and with the Gamma Case retired from the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — most copies change hands on the market rather than coming from a case.

M4A1-S | Mecha Industries Patterns

The finish has no random pattern roll — the white plating, black inserts, and red markings are placed the same on each copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. The only things that separate copies are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ variant does exist and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, more expensive drop from the Gamma Case than the plain skin, and the counter is permanent, carrying over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir edition was never produced, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and the Gamma Case has never been a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Mecha Industries Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper routes to a genuine Mecha Industries in your loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How rough does the Well-Worn version look?

Fairly rough, and the white base doesn't hide it. Expect obvious scuffing and paint thinning on the magazine, receiver, and edges — heavier than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's worst. The black inserts and red markings still hold the design together, so it reads as Mecha Industries clearly enough in-game.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Mainly if price is your priority. Field-Tested looks a good deal tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the mecha design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred on a light-colored finish.

Which gloves go with it?

The white-black-and-red palette pairs with a bright, futuristic loadout. White or light gray gloves keep it clean, red-accented wraps echo the mechanical markings, and black gloves lean into the darker inserts for stronger contrast.
