M4A1-S | Moss Quartz (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Moss Quartz (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade rifle skin — dark green metallic paint and a crystallized quartz pattern, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper way into the finish, with wear the deep green base still partly disguises.
Design
Underneath the wear, the finish is the same idea: dark green metallic paint over a crystallizing mask that generates the veined, stone-like pattern. It's a Valve design with a quiet, natural aesthetic in place of flashy artwork, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Everyone wants to make an impact."
M4A1-S | Moss Quartz (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
The overall float scale reaches 0.00–0.50, and Well-Worn covers roughly 0.38–0.45 near the top of it. At this level scuffing and paint loss show plainly across the body and rails, where the green thins out, though the crystalline veining still anchors the look. It's a worn grade — one just below Battle-Scarred, which is where the finish's 0.50 float cap kicks in.
M4A1-S | Moss Quartz Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue grade. It ranks among the lower standard weapon tiers, so it stays an accessible, everyday finish rather than a rare one.
M4A1-S | Moss Quartz Case and Collection
Part of The Norse Collection, Moss Quartz arrived with Operation Shattered Web back in November 2019. Since the set came in through that operation and not a dedicated weapon case, buyers generally source copies on the market rather than from unboxing.
M4A1-S | Moss Quartz Patterns
The pattern comes from a crystallizing mask, which lets the veining sit a bit differently on every copy — each has its own take on the crystal spread. No paint-seed ranking or phase exists to hunt for, so aside from that texture it's float that separates them.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Moss Quartz doesn't exist — StatTrak drops are seeded through weapon cases, and this finish comes from a collection distributed outside that system, so there's no kill-counter variant. The same goes for Souvenir: those weapons are made only from Major-tournament packages, and The Norse Collection has never appeared as a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Moss Quartz Price
Well-Worn sits near the foot of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. It's one of the cheaper ways to get a genuine Moss Quartz into a loadout. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Moss Quartz look?
Noticeably. Expect visible scratches and thinning paint on the body and rails — more than Field-Tested, but stopping short of the heaviest battering. The dark green base and crystalline veining keep it recognizable, so it still reads clearly as Moss Quartz in-game despite the added wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mainly if price is your priority. Field-Tested looks a fair bit tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the finish as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Which gloves go with Moss Quartz?
Its dark-green, earthy tone suits a natural loadout, so green or olive gloves match best, while black or gunmetal wraps stay muted and let the crystal pattern lead. A cool, stony accent in the wrap picks up the quartz veining nicely.
