M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Factory New)

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Factory New)

The M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Factory New) is an Industrial Grade rifle skin wearing a low-contrast black, dark-brown and muted-tan camouflage. Factory New is the top grade, where the mud-splatter texture reads at its sharpest before any wear sets in.

Design

Mud-Spec lays a custom black-and-brown camouflage over the frame, broken up by a mottled, mud-splatter texture that gives it a rugged, dug-in field look. It's a community design by the artist SayChains, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Backup has arrived."

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Factory New) Float and Wear

Float runs 0.00–0.07 at this grade, the tightest the skin gets. The camo sits crisp and evenly saturated, with the tan tones holding their brightness and no scuffing anywhere on the body. For anyone who wants the pattern exactly as intended, this is the grade to reach for.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier near the bottom of the standard weapon grades. It's a common pull, which keeps the finish approachable rather than scarce.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Case and Collection

This finish belongs to The Anubis Collection, introduced with the Anubis Collection update in April 2023. The collection is tied to the Anubis map rather than a paid weapon case, so copies enter circulation through the collection's drops and the market rather than case openings.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Patterns

There's no random pattern variation here — the camo and its mud-splatter texture land the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to chase. Wear and float are the only things that set one apart from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is no StatTrak version — StatTrak weapons come only from weapon cases, and this finish drops from a map collection rather than a case, so no kill-counter variant was ever produced. A Souvenir version does exist, first issued in the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package; Souvenir weapons are handed out only through Major-tournament packages like that one.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Price

Factory New sits at the top of the Mud-Spec ladder as the highest grade, yet the finish stays a budget pick across the board — even its cleanest copies land near the affordable end of the M4A1-S range. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth it over Minimal Wear?

For a skin this affordable, the small step up to the top grade is easy to justify if you want the camo at its most even and the tan tones at their brightest. That said, the muted palette hides light wear well, so a Minimal Wear copy looks very close for a hair less — either way you're spending budget money.

Why is there no StatTrak Mud-Spec?

StatTrak weapons are generated only inside paid weapon cases. Mud-Spec comes from The Anubis Collection, which is tied to the map rather than a case, so the game never produces a StatTrak copy of it. Only the standard and Souvenir versions exist.

Which gloves go with Mud-Spec?

Its earthy black-brown-tan palette suits a warm, field-camo loadout, so brown, tan or olive gloves are the natural match — something like Hand Wraps in a desert or leather tone ties right into the mud-splatter theme without clashing.
