M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Minimal Wear)

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Minimal Wear)

The M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Minimal Wear) is an Industrial Grade rifle skin finished in a low-contrast black, brown and tan camo. Minimal Wear keeps the pattern looking near-fresh, with only the faintest edge wear on a design that shrugs it off anyway.

Design

At its core the finish is a black-and-brown camouflage broken by a mottled mud-splatter texture, a rugged field look that leans on earthy tones instead of bright graphics. The community artist SayChains created it, and it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Backup has arrived."

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

Minimal Wear covers roughly float 0.07–0.15, one notch below the top grade. Any wear stays confined to the very edges, and because the palette is already dark and muted, it barely registers — the camo and its splatter texture still read almost as sharp as Factory New. It's a strong pick for buyers who want a near-mint look without paying for the highest grade.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier that sits near the base of the standard weapon grades. It's a common drop, which is a big part of why the finish stays so cheap.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Case and Collection

Mud-Spec is part of The Anubis Collection, which arrived in the Anubis Collection update back in April 2023. Because the collection is linked to the Anubis map rather than a purchasable case, most copies reach players through the collection's drops and the open market instead of case openings.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Patterns

The finish carries no random pattern roll — the camouflage and mud-splatter texture are placed identically on each copy, so there's no seed or "blue gem" worth hunting. The only real variables between copies are wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak variant was ever made: StatTrak versions are produced solely inside weapon cases, and this skin comes from a map collection rather than a case. A Souvenir edition, however, does exist — it debuted in the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package, since Souvenir weapons are distributed only through Major-tournament packages.

M4A1-S | Mud-Spec Price

Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New on the price ladder while looking nearly identical, which makes it a smart-value pick within an already budget-friendly finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Minimal Wear Mud-Spec look worn?

Hardly at all. Wear is limited to the outer edges, and the dark, muted camo masks it so well that most copies read as near-mint at a glance. The mud-splatter texture and tan accents stay legible, so you get essentially the Factory New look for slightly less outlay.

Is Minimal Wear the best value grade?

It's a strong contender. It costs a little less than Factory New yet looks almost the same thanks to the wear-hiding palette. Field-Tested is cheaper again and still holds up well, so the choice comes down to whether you want near-mint or simply the lowest reasonable price.

Is the finish good on a budget loadout?

Very. As an Industrial Grade drop from a map collection, Mud-Spec is one of the more affordable ways to dress the M4A1-S, and the rugged camo looks far pricier than it is. It pairs neatly with other earth-toned skins for a coherent tactical kit.
