M4A1-S | Nitro (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Nitro (Well-Worn) is a Restricted-grade rifle skin with black and tangerine orange parts in a racing style, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into the finish, with wear the bold paint still partly shrugs off.
Design
At its core the Nitro is a Valve motorsport design — parts spray-painted black and tangerine orange for a loud, energetic finish built on warm contrast. It carries a bit of lore too, an in-game line from Commanding Officer Felix Riley: "Rona is as good as she thinks she is... she's just not old enough to realize she shouldn't point it out to everyone."
M4A1-S | Nitro (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn lands high in the skin's 0.06–0.80 float range, so expect clear scuffing and paint loss across the magazine, receiver, and edges. The tangerine accents still carry the look and keep the skin recognizable, but there's no pretending this is a low-float example. Worth noting: this finish is capped at 0.80, so Well-Worn stops shy of the worst wear a full-scale skin would show. For players who care more about price than a spotless surface, it delivers the design for less.
M4A1-S | Nitro Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — positioned above Mil-Spec and below Classified. It's a genuinely mid-high grade among the standard weapon tiers.
M4A1-S | Nitro Case and Collection
Part of The Safehouse Collection, the Nitro arrived with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update on November 27, 2013. It came to players via Souvenir packages — DreamHack 2013 and EMS One 2014 — not a conventional weapon case, and the Restricted tier unboxes about 15.98% of the time (a rate the whole tier shares). Those packages are gone now, so every copy changes hands on the market.
M4A1-S | Nitro Patterns
The Nitro has no random pattern roll: the spray-painted black and orange sit identically on each copy, so there's no paint seed or blue-gem to seek out. The only variables between copies are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak Nitro to hunt for, because StatTrak weapons are produced only inside weapon cases and this finish came instead from a collection and its Souvenir packages. A Souvenir edition does exist, though — Souvenir gear is made exclusively from Major-tournament souvenir packages like the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package.
M4A1-S | Nitro Price
Well-Worn sits low on the Nitro ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way to get the racing finish for players who won't pay the mid-grade markup. As an affordable mid-tier skin to begin with, it's one of the cheaper doors into the design. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Nitro look?
Noticeably. You'll see scratches and paint thinning on the magazine and around the edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The strong black-and-orange scheme keeps it readable, so it still comes across as a Nitro in-game rather than a generic scuffed rifle.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mostly if price is your top concern. Field-Tested looks a fair bit better for a modest step up in cost, so many buyers prefer it. Well-Worn earns its place when you want the Nitro design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Which gloves go with the Nitro?
The warm black-and-orange palette fits a motorsport loadout, so orange, tan, or brown gloves lift the tangerine tone while black wraps match the darker parts. A warm-hued pair keeps the whole setup cohesive and plays to the skin's racing personality.
