Design

At its core the finish is a stark black and white design finished with pearlescent highlights — a clean, technological style that reads as modern and digital rather than busy. It began as a community submission from the artist JTPNZ, whose printstream motifs give the M4A1-S its distinctive two-tone identity.

M4A1-S | Printstream (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

At Field-Tested the finish picks up light scratching along the edges and high points, and because the base is white, that wear is a little more visible than it would be on a dark skin. Even so, the black graphics and pearlescent sheen carry the design clearly, and the float range topping out at 0.80 keeps the grade from looking rough. The Covert tier pulls at roughly 0.64% from the case (an odds figure shared across the tier), so with the case out of active drops, supply is fixed and most copies are traded rather than unboxed.

M4A1-S | Printstream Patterns

Printstream carries no random pattern variation — the graphics and pearlescent accents are placed the same on each copy, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ M4A1-S | Printstream does exist and brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop from the Operation Broken Fang Case than the plain skin, and that counter is permanent, carrying over whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never made, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and Operation Broken Fang was not a Major.
