M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Field-Tested)

M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Field-Tested)

The M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Field-Tested) is a Classified rifle skin — spacefaring ships circling a planet, set over a sky-blue upper that darkens into a stormy lower. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it, adding light wear for a friendlier price.

Design

At heart the finish is an outer-space scene: ships orbiting a planet painted across the silenced M4, with a vivid sky-blue upper that shades down into a moodier, stormy tone. It ships with a fitting in-game line — "One day in the not too distant future..." — that plays up the cosmic theme.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Within the 0.00–0.80 float range, Field-Tested sits in the middle. Here the body picks up light scratching along the edges and rails, but the busy space artwork and the blue gradient hide it well, so most copies still read clean at a glance. It's the grade that balances looks against cost, which is why it's the popular pick.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Rarity

Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, ranked just beneath Covert and second from the top of the standard weapon tiers. Unboxing one is genuinely uncommon.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Case and Collection

Belonging to The Ascent Collection, this skin came out with the Spring Forward update in March 2025. The Classified tier as a group unboxes at about 3.2% (that rate is shared across the tier), and since supply is fixed, buyers pick up most copies on the market instead of pulling them fresh.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Patterns

This finish carries no random pattern variation: the ships, the planet, and the sky-blue gradient sit the same way on each copy, so there's nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ from one another only in wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak version — StatTrak editions are seeded into weapon cases, and Stratosphere was never placed in one, so a kill-counter variant was never created. Nor is there a Souvenir version: Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and The Ascent Collection has never been part of a Major.

M4A1-S | Stratosphere Price

Field-Tested is the value heart of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the space scene looking sharp, which is a big reason it's the most-traded condition. It slots neatly into affordable mid-tier territory for the M4A1-S. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Field-Tested look worn?

Only mildly. The wear shows as light scratching along the edges and rails, but the detailed space artwork and the blue gradient draw the eye away from it, so a Field-Tested copy reads as tidy to most players. The central scene of ships and planet stays fully intact regardless of float.

Is Field-Tested the best value grade?

For many buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear and Factory New but keeps the artwork looking sharp thanks to the busy design masking minor wear. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price and don't mind heavier scuffing.

Which gloves suit the Field-Tested Stratosphere?

Its cool sky-blue palette pairs best with blue or blue-and-white gloves that echo the gradient, while gray or neutral wraps let the space scene take center stage. Match it with other blue-toned pieces in your loadout for a coherent, storm-sky look.
