M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Well-Worn) is a Classified rifle skin — spacefaring ships around a planet on a sky-blue-to-stormy gradient, here in a more battered state. It's a cheaper route into an atmospheric M4A1-S finish, with wear the busy artwork partly masks.
Design
The design is unmistakably cosmic: ships circling a planet across the silenced M4, a bright sky-blue upper bleeding into a darker, stormy lower half. It comes with a fitting flavor line — "One day in the not too distant future..." — that suits its high-altitude, outer-space mood.
M4A1-S | Stratosphere (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn sits high on the finish's 0.00–0.80 float scale, just below the roughest grade. At this level scuffing and paint loss spread noticeably across the body and edges, though the space scene stays recognizable through it. It stops short of the absolute worst the skin can look — that extreme belongs to Battle-Scarred, which is where the float cap comes into play. For players chasing price over polish, this grade delivers the design for less.
M4A1-S | Stratosphere Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It ranks directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and pulling one is genuinely uncommon.
M4A1-S | Stratosphere Case and Collection
Part of The Ascent Collection, Stratosphere launched alongside the Spring Forward update in March 2025. The Classified tier drops roughly 3.2% of the time (an odds figure shared across the tier's skins), and with supply now finite, most copies are bought on the market rather than dropped in game.
M4A1-S | Stratosphere Patterns
Because the ships, planet, and blue gradient are printed the same on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — no paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. What separates one copy from the next comes down to wear and float alone.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition was never made — StatTrak variants are seeded only through StatTrak-enabled weapon cases, and this finish was never released in one, so no kill-counter copy exists. There's no Souvenir version to find either, since Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages and The Ascent Collection has never been a Major drop.
M4A1-S | Stratosphere Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the finish's ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the space design for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. Within the M4A1-S lineup the whole finish is affordable mid-tier, so this grade is an especially easy pickup. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn Stratosphere look?
Fairly worn. Expect visible scuffing and paint thinning across the body and edges — heavier than Field-Tested but not as battered as Battle-Scarred. The orbiting ships and blue gradient keep it identifiable, so it still reads clearly as the Stratosphere in game despite the extra surface damage.
Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?
Mostly only if price is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks a fair bit tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the space design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred's heavier wear.
Does the space scene survive the wear?
Yes. Even with the scuffing spread across the body, the ships, planet, and sky-blue-to-stormy fade stay legible, since the artwork is busy enough to carry through visible wear. You lose some crispness compared to the cleaner grades, but the overall design still comes across clearly.
