M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Battle-Scarred)
The M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Battle-Scarred) is a Covert rifle skin showing a white base, gold accents, and the Egyptian falcon god Horus, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into this Covert M4A4 design, trading pristine detail for the lowest entry price.
Design
The Eye of Horus is defined by its ancient-Egyptian theme: a white base drenched in gold accents, with the falcon-headed god Horus as the centerpiece. Valve built it in-house, pairing mythological motifs with a modern rifle finish, and a fitting in-game line accompanies it: "Rise above the rest."
M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the finer gold detail is worn thin in places. The white base and the Horus portrait survive as the anchor that keeps the skin recognizable. This finish is float-capped at 0.70, so even at its roughest it never reaches the extreme end of the wear scale, and the design stays legible.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Rarity
Rarity here is Covert — the red tier, the top grade a standard weapon skin can reach. Covert M4A4s count among the most sought-after rifle skins in the game, and the Eye of Horus belongs right there.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Case and Collection
Part of The Anubis Collection, the Eye of Horus doesn't drop from a weapon case at all — the collection's skins come as in-game drops and through trade-up contracts. The Covert tier is the collection's rarest, appearing around 0.64% of the time, a genuinely uncommon result, so most copies are traded on the market rather than found firsthand.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Patterns
No random pattern applies to the Eye of Horus; the falcon-god artwork is fixed across all copies, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. The only differences from copy to copy come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is no StatTrak form of this skin — StatTrak counters are issued only on finishes that shipped inside weapon cases, and this one never did. A Souvenir version, on the other hand, was made: the Anubis Collection has been given out in Major-tournament souvenir packages, starting with the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run a Covert Eye of Horus for players who care more about the design than the condition. If you want the gold-and-white Egyptian M4A4 for as little as possible, this is the way in, though as a grail-tier Covert it still sits in premium territory. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Eye of Horus still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and thinned detail, the bright white-and-gold composition and the falcon-god portrait keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the artwork entirely — the overall look still reads as the Eye of Horus.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Eye of Horus look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.70 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. There's obvious scratching and paint loss, but the gold-on-white Egyptian design keeps enough structure that it stays legible instead of dissolving into damage.
Which gloves go with the Eye of Horus?
Its white-and-gold Egyptian palette suits a bright, regal loadout, so tan, sand, or gold-accented gloves pair beautifully and echo the finish rather than fighting it. Cream or light leather wraps also work if you want to lean into the ancient, luxurious feel of the design.
