M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Field-Tested)
The M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Field-Tested) is a Covert rifle skin showing a white base, gold accents, and the Egyptian falcon god Horus, here with a bit of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable way to own it, keeping the gilded artwork clearly readable despite some light scuffing.
Design
This finish builds its look around an ancient-Egyptian theme: a white base washed with gold accents and an image of Horus, the falcon-headed god. Valve designed it in-house, merging mythological motifs with a modern rifle finish, and it comes with a fitting in-game line: "Rise above the rest."
M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
At Field-Tested the finish shows light scratching along the edges and high-contact spots like the magazine, and the gold detailing softens a little against the white base compared with the cleaner grades. Even so, the bright, gilded composition keeps the Horus design recognizable at a glance. This is the grade most players land on when they want the skin at a sensible price.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Rarity
Covert is the rarity here: the red tier, the highest grade for a standard weapon skin. Since Covert M4A4s are some of the most desirable rifle skins around, the Eye of Horus is in strong company.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Case and Collection
This finish sits in The Anubis Collection, which isn't opened from a weapon case — its skins arrive as in-game drops and through trade-up contracts. As the collection's Covert, the rarest of its tiers, it turns up roughly 0.64% of the time, so most copies are bought on the market rather than found in play.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Patterns
The Eye of Horus doesn't roll a random pattern: the falcon-god artwork is placed identically on each copy, leaving no paint seed or "blue gem" to chase. What separates copies is purely wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin, since StatTrak counters are made only for finishes released in weapon cases, and this one never shipped that way. Souvenir copies do exist, however — the Anubis Collection has been distributed through Major-tournament souvenir packages, beginning with the Paris 2023 Anubis Souvenir Package.
M4A4 | Eye of Horus Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range — noticeably cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the design fully readable. It's still a high-end Covert finish within the M4A4 lineup, but it's the most accessible entry point for players who want the look without the top-grade cost. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Eye of Horus look worn?
A little, but not badly. Expect light scratching around the edges and the magazine, and slightly softer gold detail than the cleaner grades. The bright white-and-gold Horus composition keeps the skin instantly recognizable in-game, so most buyers see Field-Tested as a fair trade of a touch of wear for a much friendlier price.
Is Field-Tested the best value M4A4 | Eye of Horus?
For most buyers, yes. It costs clearly less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while still showing the artwork well, and it's the most common exterior on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper still if you want the lowest entry price on a grail-tier skin and don't mind heavier wear.
Which gloves go with the Eye of Horus?
Its white-and-gold Egyptian palette suits a bright, regal loadout, so tan, sand, or gold-accented gloves pair beautifully and echo the finish rather than fighting it. Cream or light leather wraps also work if you want to lean into the ancient, luxurious feel of the design.
