M4A4 | Radiation Hazard (Field-Tested)
The M4A4 | Radiation Hazard (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec rifle skin covered in radiological warning stripes and hazard symbols in yellow and black. Field-Tested is the mid-range, most common way to own it — a bit of honest wear on a finish that still reads loud and clear.
Design
A Valve-made finish, this one covers the rifle in radiological warning marks — yellow and black hazard stripes with familiar trefoil-style caution symbols over a dark base. There's no busy artwork here; the appeal is the blunt, high-contrast warning-sign aesthetic that reads clearly at any range.
M4A4 | Radiation Hazard (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested spans roughly the 0.15–0.38 float band and picks up light-to-moderate scuffing along the rails and high-contact points. The bold hazard graphics hide it well, though — the yellow stripes stay legible and the skin still looks the part at combat distance. This is the grade most owners land on and the easiest to find.
M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Rarity
Rarity sits at Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier and the lowest of the standard weapon grades. Blue-grade finishes are the most frequently seen, so this is an easy-access rarity rather than a scarce one.
M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Case and Collection
The skin sits in The Nuke Collection, which launched with the August 2013 Arms Deal update. There's no case to unbox it from — regular copies enter circulation via drops and trade-up contracts, whereas Souvenir editions were handed out in Nuke Souvenir Packages at Major events. Mil-Spec finishes make up the lion's share of any package pull, around 80%.
M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Patterns
Pattern-wise there's nothing random going on: the yellow-black warning graphics sit the same way on every rifle, so there's no blue gem or special seed to look for. Copies differ only by their float value and exterior.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak Radiation Hazard. The counter variant is only ever created inside weapon cases, and this finish has never appeared in one. Souvenir editions, on the other hand, do exist — they come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, specifically the Nuke Souvenir Packages given out at events such as ESL One Cologne 2014.
M4A4 | Radiation Hazard Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range, cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the look intact, which is a big reason it's the most traded exterior. The finish overall is a premium one in the M4A4 field. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Radiation Hazard look worn?
Only lightly. In the 0.15–0.38 float range it collects some scuffing on the rails and edges, but the busy yellow-and-black hazard pattern disguises it well. At normal viewing distance the skin still reads bold, which is a big part of why Field-Tested is such a popular pick.
Why is Field-Tested the most common exterior?
Field-Tested covers the widest float band, so more copies roll into it than any other grade, and it balances a low-ish price with a look that holds up. For a busy, wear-hiding finish like this one, that combination makes it the default choice for most buyers.
Is there a StatTrak Field-Tested version?
No. StatTrak weapons are only ever created inside weapon cases, and this finish has never been part of one — it comes from The Nuke Collection instead. So no StatTrak edition exists in any exterior, though a Souvenir version does through the Major Nuke Souvenir Packages.
