M4A4 | Zirka (Field-Tested)
The M4A4 | Zirka (Field-Tested) is a Restricted rifle skin built around a star motif — zirka is Ukrainian for star — and made in-house by Valve. Field-Tested is the most common, mid-priced way to own it, with light honest wear on a design that still reads well.
Design
Zirka means star in Ukrainian, and the skin earns the name with a star motif patterned across the M4A4. This is one of Valve's own in-house finishes rather than a community piece, and it comes with an in-game line that adds some flavor: "Imogen shares her father's eye for quality, but her ambition is even fiercer."
M4A4 | Zirka (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested covers the wide 0.15–0.38 float range, and here the finish gains visible scratching along the edges, handguard, and stock. The star motif holds up as the focal point regardless of float, so the skin stays recognizable — this is the grade most players picture, balancing a lived-in look against a friendlier price.
M4A4 | Zirka Rarity
Rarity: Restricted — marked by the purple tier. On the grade ladder it lands between Mil-Spec below and Classified above, so it's an uncommon drop, though not among the very rarest tiers.
M4A4 | Zirka Case and Collection
Part of The Bravo Collection, the skin is unboxed from the Operation Bravo Case, released during the Operation Bravo update in September 2013. The Restricted tier pulls at about 16% from the case overall (shared among the tier's skins), and because this vintage case is no longer in the active drop pool, copies mainly come from trades and the market instead of fresh openings.
M4A4 | Zirka Patterns
This skin carries no pattern variation — every unit shows the star motif in the same placement, so there's nothing like a seed or a blue gem to search for. The only differences between copies come down to wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You'll also find a StatTrak™ M4A4 Zirka, which brings a kill counter along; it's scarcer and pricier than the standard drop, and its tally is permanent, carrying over to whoever owns the item next. A Souvenir edition doesn't exist — Souvenir weapons only ever come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Operation Bravo Case has never been a Major drop.
M4A4 | Zirka Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range, cheaper than the higher grades while keeping the design intact — which is a big part of why it's the most traded condition. It remains a premium finish among M4A4 skins, and it's simple to pick up at a fair price on Skin.Land.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Zirka look worn?
Somewhat. Expect visible scratches along the edges, handguard, and stock, more than Minimal Wear but well short of the roughest grade. The star motif isn't affected by float, so the skin's signature detail always stands out and it stays clearly recognizable in-game.
Why is Field-Tested the most traded Zirka?
It's the value sweet spot. Field-Tested copies are the most plentiful on the market and cost noticeably less than the higher grades, while still showing the design well. For most players that mix of availability and fair price makes it the default choice over paying up for Minimal Wear or Factory New.
Does the StatTrak Zirka cost much more?
Yes. The StatTrak™ version is a separate, rarer drop, so it carries a clear premium over the standard skin at the same wear. Whether it's worth it comes down to whether you actually want a live confirmed-kill counter on your rifle — cosmetically the two are identical.
