MAC-10 | Candy Apple (Factory New)

MAC-10 | Candy Apple (Factory New)

The MAC-10 | Candy Apple (Factory New) is an Industrial Grade SMG finish sprayed in solid red and black. Factory New is the top of a short, tightly capped wear ladder, showing the paint job at its most saturated.

Design

Candy Apple keeps things simple — individual parts spray-painted solid colors in a red-and-black scheme, no printed graphics involved. It's a Valve-made finish, and it carries the flavor line "Great on cars, better on weapons."

MAC-10 | Candy Apple (Factory New) Float and Wear

The Candy Apple's float only runs from 0.00 to 0.30, well short of the usual 1.00 ceiling, so even the finish's worst grade never reaches heavy wear. At Factory New the red paint looks fully saturated and the black sections stay clean, with no visible marks anywhere on the body.

MAC-10 | Candy Apple Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier, one step above Consumer Grade among the standard weapon rarities.

MAC-10 | Candy Apple Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Train Collection, which debuted with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update in November 2013. It was never attached to a weapon case, so regular copies come from the collection's own drop pool or the market.

MAC-10 | Candy Apple Patterns

The red-and-black paint job is fixed across every copy — there's no paint-seed roll and no "blue gem" variant to chase on the Candy Apple. Only wear grade and float differ between units.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish exists as a regular finish and a Souvenir version, with no StatTrak variant offered. Souvenir copies first appeared in the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package, and later Major souvenir packages continued distributing more across the years since.

MAC-10 | Candy Apple Price

Factory New tops the Candy Apple's short price ladder, keeping it within affordable mid-tier pricing overall. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Why does the Candy Apple only go up to Field-Tested?

The finish is float-capped at 0.30, well below the 0.38 threshold Well-Worn needs, so those heavier wear grades simply never generate. Factory New, Minimal Wear, and Field-Tested cover the entire range this skin can appear in.

Is Factory New Candy Apple worth the extra cost?

If you want the red-and-black paint at its most vivid, yes. Since the whole float range is already narrow and low, the visual gap between grades here is smaller than on skins with a full 0.00–1.00 range, so Minimal Wear is also a fair alternative.

Does Candy Apple have a Souvenir version?

Yes. Souvenir copies date back to the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package, with numerous later Major-tournament packages adding to supply since. There's no StatTrak version, making Souvenir the only variant beyond the standard regular finish.
