MAC-10 | Disco Tech (Minimal Wear)
The MAC-10 | Disco Tech (Minimal Wear) brings the same pearlescent, holographic-vinyl look to a Classified SMG finish. Minimal Wear keeps the shimmer looking close to full strength while sitting a step below Factory New on price.
Design
The coating is built to imitate holographic self-adhesive vinyl, giving the whole weapon a pearlescent, color-shifting sheen instead of a flat paint job. Community artist hexeth designed it, pairing it with the in-game line "Watch when you point that thing."
MAC-10 | Disco Tech (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Across Disco Tech's full 0.00–1.00 float range, Minimal Wear sits just above the floor. The holographic sheen still reads brightly at this grade, with only the smallest hint of dulling on close inspection and barely any visible marks elsewhere. It's the grade most players pick when they want near-Factory New shimmer for a lower cost.
MAC-10 | Disco Tech Rarity
Rarity: Classified — the pink grade, sitting just under Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon tiers.
MAC-10 | Disco Tech Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Prisma 2 Collection and comes from the Prisma 2 Case, which launched in March 2020. The Classified tier pulls at about 3.2% from that case as a group, a rate shared across the tier's skins, and with the case aging out of frequent circulation, buying on the market is now the more common route.
MAC-10 | Disco Tech Patterns
Every Disco Tech shows the identical holographic finish — the paint-seed index has no effect on the look. There's no pattern or blue-gem seed worth tracking down; only wear and float distinguish one copy from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak™ version of the Disco Tech, carrying a permanent confirmed-kill counter that follows the item through trades and sales; it's scarcer and pricier than the regular skin. No Souvenir version exists, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages and this finish has never been part of one.
MAC-10 | Disco Tech Price
Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New on the price ladder, offering nearly the same bright shimmer for a bit less. It's still a premium MAC-10 finish, just slightly more affordable. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear close to Factory New on the Disco Tech?
Very close. The holographic sheen still looks vivid at Minimal Wear, and only the closest inspection shows any dulling. For most buyers it's an easy way to save some money without sacrificing much visual impact.
How rare is the MAC-10 | Disco Tech?
It sits at Classified rarity, one tier below Covert, making it a genuinely uncommon weapon skin. It comes from the Prisma 2 Case, which pulls the Classified tier at roughly 3.2%, though buying it directly is now more common than unboxing.
Does the Disco Tech have a Souvenir version?
No. There's no Souvenir MAC-10 Disco Tech, since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages and this finish has never been included in one. A StatTrak version does exist, so the regular and StatTrak finishes make up the full lineup.
