MAC-10 | Neon Rider (Field-Tested)
The MAC-10 | Neon Rider (Field-Tested) carries its cyan-and-pink biker artwork with a touch of visible use. It's the classic middle grade of this rare Covert finish.
Design
A biker figure rendered in glowing cyan and pink sits over the MAC-10's black body, a bold, cyberpunk-inspired design. Puffin and Helenek created it as a community submission, pairing it with the flavor line "One part firearm, two parts Trapper Keeper."
MAC-10 | Neon Rider (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Field-Tested lands in the upper half of the finish's capped 0.00–0.45 float range. Some light scuffing shows on the black base and around the biker artwork's edges, but the neon lines themselves stay bright and legible. It's a noticeably used grade, though still far from rough.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Rarity
This is a Covert-rarity finish — the red tier, the top of the standard weapon rarity scale.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Case and Collection
Neon Rider belongs to The Chroma 2 Collection, sourced from the Chroma 2 Case that launched with the April 2015 update. It's a Covert pull, so the odds sit well under 1% within that case, and with the case retired from active drops, most supply now moves through the market.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Patterns
Every copy of this finish shares the same fixed biker artwork with no paint-seed variation — there's no pattern or "blue gem" worth chasing. Only the wear grade and float number separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Both regular and StatTrak versions of this finish exist, with StatTrak adding a permanent confirmed-kill counter that stays with the item across trades and sales. There's no Souvenir version, since those come exclusively from Major-tournament packages and Neon Rider has never been part of one.
MAC-10 | Neon Rider Price
Field-Tested costs less than the two grades above it, but the Covert rarity here still keeps it a genuinely high-end finish. It's the version many buyers settle on for a strong look without paying full grail money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does Field-Tested look on Neon Rider?
Light scuffing appears on the black base and around the biker artwork's edges, but the cyan-and-pink neon lines stay bold and easy to read. It's a step down from the top grades in polish, not in visual impact.
Is Field-Tested a good value pick for this finish?
It's the most affordable way to own a genuinely rare Covert MAC-10 finish, since the design stays vivid even with some wear. Minimal Wear and Factory New cost more for a subtler visual gain.
Why is there no Battle-Scarred Neon Rider?
The finish is capped at a 0.45 float, and the game never rolls a copy past that point. Since Battle-Scarred needs a much higher float than the cap allows, it simply doesn't exist for this skin, making Well-Worn the roughest grade available.
