The MAC-10 | Palm (Battle-Scarred) shows its stenciled palm-leaf texture in the roughest state the finish reaches. It's the cheapest way into this old, affordable Dust 2 Collection skin.
Design
Palm gets its texture from spray paint applied through cardboard cutouts, fine mesh, and palm leaves used as stencils, giving the MAC-10 a natural, layered look. It's a Valve-made finish from The Dust 2 Collection's original lineup.
MAC-10 | Palm (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Palm's float caps at 0.80, so Battle-Scarred shows heavier scuffing and loss of definition in the stencil texture without ever reaching the most extreme wear a full-range skin would hit. The palm-leaf pattern stays visible, if roughed up, and this cap keeps the worst grade a bit milder than it otherwise could be.

Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier and one of the most common rarities among standard weapon finishes.
MAC-10 | Palm Case and Collection
This finish comes from The Dust 2 Collection, tied to the "Out with the old, in with the new" update in November 2013, with no weapon case behind it — regular copies are obtained through trade-up contracts, while Souvenir versions were only ever handed out at Major tournaments.

The stencil texture never changes between copies — it's a fixed design with no paint-seed roll, so there's no pattern or "blue gem" to look for. Wear and float remain the only real differences.
