MP7 | Asterion (Factory New)

MP7 | Asterion (Factory New)

The MP7 | Asterion (Factory New) is a Consumer Grade SMG skin built around a stencil-sprayed isometric labyrinth in blue. Factory New is the top of the ladder for this finish, showing the labyrinth artwork at its most complete.

Design

Asterion leans on mythology, with a blue-toned isometric labyrinth spray-painted across the body in place of a busy graphic. It's a Valve-made finish, and it carries an in-game line that fits the theme: "Kings are just men... and no man should be worshipped."

MP7 | Asterion (Factory New) Float and Wear

The Asterion is float-capped at 0.55, and Factory New sits right at the bottom of that range. At this grade the maze lines are crisp and the blue tone reads at full saturation, with no visible marking anywhere on the body. It's the sharpest the labyrinth artwork ever looks.

MP7 | Asterion Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade, the entry tier of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common rarity band a skin can carry, which keeps supply relatively easy to find.

MP7 | Asterion Case and Collection

This finish belongs to The Gods and Monsters Collection, which arrived with Operation Bloodhound back in May 2015. It doesn't drop from any weapon case, so every copy in circulation comes from the collection pool or the market rather than an unboxing.

MP7 | Asterion Patterns

The labyrinth stencil is fixed — there's no paint-seed index that reshuffles it, so every copy carries the same maze artwork in the same place. Wear and float are the only things that separate one Asterion from another; there's no pattern or "blue gem" to hunt.

StatTrak & Souvenir

The Asterion exists as a regular finish only — there's no StatTrak version tracking kills, and no Souvenir edition either. Souvenir weapons come exclusively from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never been offered in one, which is simply why it doesn't exist here.

MP7 | Asterion Price

Factory New is the priciest grade on the Asterion's own ladder, a step above Minimal Wear, and it sits comfortably in an affordable mid-tier bracket overall — enough to feel like a real pickup without demanding grail-level spending. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth the extra cost over Minimal Wear on the Asterion?

If you want the labyrinth stencil looking as sharp as it can, yes — Factory New is the cleanest the artwork gets. But because the finish is float-capped fairly low, Minimal Wear still looks close to identical for less, so it's mostly a call about squeezing out the last bit of polish.

When was the MP7 | Asterion released?

It launched in May 2015 as part of The Gods and Monsters Collection, added alongside Operation Bloodhound. It has stayed a Consumer Grade collection piece since, without ever being folded into a weapon case.

What are the best gloves for the MP7 | Asterion?

Its cool blue labyrinth stencil pairs naturally with a blue or dark-toned loadout, so a blue leather or dark gray pair makes a good best MP7 Asterion glove combo. Sticking to muted, cool colors keeps the mythological blue motif front and center instead of clashing with it.
