MP9 | Food Chain (Well-Worn)

MP9 | Food Chain (Well-Worn)

The MP9 | Food Chain (Well-Worn) shows the same monster food-chain artwork with more visible battle damage than the mid-tier grades. It's a cheaper route into this Classified skin for players who don't mind some scuffing.

Design

The design is loud on purpose — a custom monster food-chain scene rendered in bright, saturated colors, paired with the line "Eat or be eaten." The artist behind it, chipAs, leaned fully into that over-the-top, thematic style.

MP9 | Food Chain (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Well-Worn falls further along the Food Chain's 0.00–1.00 float scale than Field-Tested. Expect clear scuffing and some paint thinning across the body at this grade, though the bright color palette still keeps the artwork readable even with the extra wear.

MP9 | Food Chain Rarity

This is a Classified finish — the pink rarity tier, ranked directly below Covert as one of the harder standard pulls from a case.

MP9 | Food Chain Case and Collection

Food Chain drops from the Snakebite Case as part of The Snakebite Collection, which arrived alongside the End of Broken Fang update in May 2021. The Classified tier as a whole unboxes at about 3.2%, a rate spread across every skin sharing that rarity.

MP9 | Food Chain Patterns

Every copy of this finish carries the identical food-chain artwork — there's no random seed to chase, no "blue gem" variant hiding out there. Wear and float are the only variables that change what a given copy looks like.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version of the MP9 | Food Chain does exist, tracking confirmed kills permanently as the weapon changes hands. There's no Souvenir edition, because that variant is only produced from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never appeared in one.

MP9 | Food Chain Price

Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the Food Chain's price range, below Field-Tested and ahead of only Battle-Scarred — a budget-friendly way into a premium-tier MP9 finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How much wear shows on a Well-Worn Food Chain?

You'll see clear scuffing and some paint thinning across the body, more than a Field-Tested copy but short of the heaviest damage on Battle-Scarred. The bright colors of the food-chain artwork still keep the design easy to make out.

Why buy Well-Worn instead of Field-Tested?

Mainly for the lower price — Well-Worn costs less while keeping the design recognizable. If a bit more visible wear doesn't bother you, it's a reasonable way to save on this Classified finish.

Is the Food Chain a good StatTrak pickup?

It can be, if you want kill tracking on a colorful, thematic MP9 skin. Just expect to pay a premium over the regular finish, since StatTrak copies are rarer across every wear.
